5 Things You Didn’t Know About JAMfest Europe!

The first Summit bids of the 2017-18 season are up for grabs, and the talent will be INTENSE at JAMfest Europe 2017 in Liverpool, England, on June 24-25! This one-of-a-kind event will be filled with two days of top choreographed routines from all-star cheer and dance teams from all over Europe.

As the excitement builds up before the competition kicks off, you can catch up on routine videos from last year, read up on teams traveling to the event, and learn more about one of the best competitions in the U.K. Here are five things that you didn’t know about JAMfest Europe!

1. Any division can win the overall grand championship

JAMfest Europe awards specialty awards to teams of all division levels. The ultimate title is to be named the overall grand champions. Teams of any division level can claim this title. In 2016, the Level 1 Crimson Heat Tigers earned this prestigious award.

2. Only event in the U.K. to earn a Summit bid

In the U.S. and other countries, teams are given several opportunities to earn a bid to The Summit. JAMfest Europe is the ONLY competition in the U.K. that gives away Summit bids.

3. Summit winners received their bid at JAMfest Europe

Did you know that the Large Junior Level 1 2017 Summit champions earned their bid at JAMfest Europe? Not only did Crimson Heat Tigers have the highest score at the event in 2016, but they also took the climb and became the first Summit champions from the U.K.!
