4 Reasons NDA’s Team Performance Is A Crowd Favorite

Team performance is a division unique to NDA and fans LOVE IT! For those of you new to the Team Performance fan club, here’s a break down of how it works.

Routines can be 2:15 or less, and must contain 30 seconds of each genre: Hip Hop, Jazz, Pom and Kick! This category is to show a team’s versatility, and strength overall. Props are not required, but many teams get creative in incorporating poms and props in this division.

Here are four reasons fans love Team Performance:

4. When a team walks on stage, you never really know what division you are watching based on the costume…UNTIL the announcer shouts “IN THE TEAM PERFORMANCE DIVISION…”

3. It’s always a fun game guessing what genre of dance is coming next, based on the team’s posture and expression change.

2. Watching teams get down in the Hip Hop section to unexpected violin music is very entertaining.

1. SURPRISE POMS! It’s a hair piece, it’s a cute fluffy tail — NO! It’s actually a pair of very well-planned poms for the Pom section!
