4 Defending Champions To Watch At Spirit Sports

Spirit Sports: Duel In The Desert 2020 is about to kick off in Palm Springs, California and the competition is going to be heated! Defending champions are back at the competition this season and are looking to claim another Spirit Sports title.

Be on the lookout this weekend for these 4 defending champions! And remember, if you can’t make it to the competition to watch your favorite team take the mat, you can watch them LIVE on Varsity TV.

OC All Stars – Black

Level 5 Senior Open Small Coed

OC All Stars Black came out of Day 1 in first place and held their top spot on Day 2 in 2019. They rounded out the competition with a score of a 96.3542, securing the top spot. Can they do it again? Watch them take on the Level 6 Senior Coed Open Small division this weekend!

The Cali All Stars Mesa – Vixens

Level 5 Senior XSmall

The Vixens from The California All Stars Mesa swept the competition last season and came on top of the largest Level 5 division there that weekend! They ended their routine with a 96.3667, securing the top spot on both days of competition. Be sure to watch them in the Level 6 Senior XSmall division this weekend.

CheerForce San Diego – Wrath

Level 4 Senior Small

CheerForce San Diego Wrath left the crowd speechless after their incredible Day 2 performance, scoring a 97.0834. The team was in first place headed into the final day and they did it again to hold their top spot. Watch them take on the Level 4 Senior Medium this year!

Intensity Athletics – High Voltage

Level 3 International Junior

High Voltage from Intensity Athletics SHOCKED the audience on both days of competition and took home the title in the Level 3 International Junior division. Their final score was a 97.4846 and they’re looking to do it again this year! Watch them take on the same division this weekend.
