School is out and the sunshine is calling your name! Step into summer by accomplishing this bucket list to ensure your sunny stories and skills are top notch heading into the season.

Conquer a New Skill
It’s time to finally land that new tumbling pass that you have been working on all season long, or conquer that stunt that will set your team above the rest! Put in work at practice this season and you’ll soon see results!

Take Some Time for Yourself
Take a relaxing vacation or simply unplugging from social media. Setting aside time for yourself to unwind is key. The season can get hectic and it’s important to let your mind & body take some well-deserved rest.

Bond With Your Stunt Group
Your stunt group should always be lifting each other up – literally! Getting together outside of practice will help you work better together and ensure your success through the whole season. Plan activities like a bowling night or a shopping trip and let the bonding begin!

Try Something New
Training in the gym is our specialty, but it’s time to bust out of your comfort zone and try a new activity this summer! Take a yoga class, learn to play volleyball or pick up a cool water sport. Being a part of other activities will pump up your summer fun and help keep you in shape!

Cheer Camp
Whether your team likes to sleep away or keep things closer to home, cheer camp & choreography is a great way to make memories with your teammates while setting up a strong foundation for your season!

Scavenger Hunt
Buckle up for an adventure and get to know the newest members of your team. Plan a scavenger hunt around town and snap some pics to make lasting memories.

Flexibility & Conditioning
Keep your muscles in tiptop shape by continuing to stretch and condition this summer. Build up those biceps or gain a new body position! Pro Tip: The #VarsityFit Training Program includes 16 custom workouts created to help you achieve your strongest season yet.

Splish-Splash
Catch a break from the heat wave by riding another one! Take a dip in the pool or visit a beach to really soak up that summer sun. Turn up the team bonding by inviting your team over for a slip & slide or heading out for a day at the water park.

Open Gym
Open Gym is a perfect way to pump up your skills and try new things! Getting in a little extra practice now will go a long way throughout the year.

Give Back
Cheerleaders and dancers are ambassadors for their programs, schools and communities. Plan a service project and help give back as a team!

Stay Sharp with School Work
Complete your summer reading list or start on the science project early and spend the rest of your days worry free! Pass the time by the pool by checking out a new best seller!

Sweet Treat
Enjoy some sweet summertime treats like popsicles & ice cream to cool off on hot days. Feeling fancy? Look up a recipe and make your own!

Complete a DIY
A do-it-yourself project is the perfect way to let your creative juices flow. Tie-dye t-shirts with the team or make some cute new décor for your room, the possibilities are endless!

Bestie Bonding
Plan a sleepover to tell your best friends all about your summer adventures and create memories to carry over into the school year.

Become a Better You
Always strive to be better than you were yesterday. Work on improving yourself daily to help accomplish your goals and set up your season for success.
