The 2019 NCA North Texas Classic kicked off this morning with action-packed routines from some of your favorite Texas programs!

Spirit of Texas was one of the first gyms to take the mat this morning and all three teams from the Dallas based program put on a show.

The first Spirit of Texas team to perform at the NCA North Texas Classic was Purple Crush in the Youth Level 3 division. The purple ladies opened up their routine with beautifully synchronized tumbling and high energy choreography.

This was the first performance of the season for Purple Crush and the talented team hit zero!

The crowd loved the energy from Purple Crush and the athletes from Champion Cheer created a tunnel after their performance to show their support!

After Purple Crush earned their first zero deduction routine of the season, it was time for the Purple Aces to perform.

The Purple Aces finished in the top 10 at both NCA All-Star Nationals and The Summit last season and the L3 Junior Medium team is working to climb the ranks even higher in 2020.

Similar to Crush, the Aces showcased their strong tumbling skills to open up their new routine before transitioning into a visual elite stunt section that showed off their flexibility and athleticism.

While the Purple Aces may have not hit a perfect routine today, they proved to be a team to watch as the season continues.

The last team to take the mat for Spirit of Texas was the Junior Royals.

The Level 6 team opened up their routine with picture-perfect toe touch back tucks before moving into baskets and specialty tumbling passes. The Junior Royals have a routine jam-packed with elite skills and we can't wait to watch as their confidence on the mat grows throughout the season.
