3 Cheers to you, Dad!

For all the rides to and from practice, weekend long competitions and always being the loudest ones in the stands, we are so thankful for the cheer dads that help make it possible to do what we love. Here are three ways that you can show your dad some love this Father’s Day!

  1. Write him a card: Show your appreciation for everything your cheer dad does by writing him a card. Did he help send you to camp? Listen to endless amounts of cheer mixes on the way to a competition? Attempt to help you with your hair on Game Day? Whatever it is that you appreciate about your father, make sure he knows how truly thankful you are!
  2. Make him a cheer: What do we love more than dad jokes? Dad cheers! We know it is a little cheesy, but getting your entire team to film a cheer for your D-A-D would definitely put a smile on his face.
  3. Help him show his pride: Is your dad proud to be a cheer dad? Make him a sentimental gift to show off how proud he is of you. Some ideas could include a photo frame to put on his desk at work, a customized shirt to wear on Game Day or a DIY pom-pom keychain that will help him remember his cheerleader wherever he goes!

No matter how you show your love for your cheer dad this Fathers Day, make sure he knows just how much you appreciate his support on and off the sidelines. Posting a picture of you and your #CheerDad on Instagram? Be sure to tag @ncacheer and you might be featured on our story!
