ABOUT SHELLY

Shelly Mahaffey Warren is the current Academy of Unified Arts Director at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, FL, a veteran Head Instructor for Universal Dance Association, and the Quality Control Leader for judging panels at The USASF Dance Worlds. In addition, Shelly is a veteran national and international judge for Varsity Brands, judging all star competitions and at the high school and college level.

She works as a choreographer and competition consultant for high school, college, studio, and all star programs across the country. As a choreographer, Shelly has obtained national titles in High Kick and Pom, with top 10 rankings in Jazz and Hip Hop. She continues to pursue her dream of educating and inspiring dancers through her travels to studios and schools nationwide.

Shelly’s choreography experience is not limited to dance teams for competition, she has also choreographed studio material for over twenty years that are performed at recitals and community events, routines for Universal Dance Association Summer Camps from 2005-2013, and she was a member of V!ROC Dance from 2007-2014.
