The Dance Summit 2022 is designed to give the most competitive non-Worlds dance teams the chance to show they are the best in the country. The Dance Summit is the largest end-of-year Dance competition in the All Star market and what a magical place to end your season but Disney World!

Be sure to grab a front-row seat with Varsity TV as The Dance Summit begins at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort starting on April 30th, 2022.

When: April 30th – May 1st, 2022

Where: Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort  at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida

The Dance Summit will take place in Fiesta Ballroom and Coronado Ballroom at the beautiful Coronado Springs Resort.

If you need to take a break from the competition, you can stop by the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill or grab some lunch at the Maya Grill inside Coronado. There are even food trucks located behind the HP Field House for quick meals before you have to head back for awards. Take a virtual tour of the facility before you arrive to navigate the space like a pro.

The Dance Summit Rounds and Advancements Explained:

The Semi-Final Round:

The Semi-Final Round of The Dance Summit will take place at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort on April 30th, 2022. Below is the number of teams that will advance from Semi-Finals to Finals based on division size:

  • All divisions with 10 or less teams in Semi-Finals will have 5 teams advance to Finals.
  • All divisions with 11-19 teams in Semi-Finals will have 50% of the divisions advance to Finals.
  • All divisions with 20 or more teams in Semi-Finals will have 10 teams in the division advance to Finals.
  • All divisions with 25 or more teams in Semi-Finals will have 50% of the division advance to Finals.

*Advancement rules for The Dance Summit are subject to change and will be evaluated as we get closer to the Championship.

The Final Round: 

  • The Final Round of The Dance Summit will take place at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
    on May 1st, 2022. Teams advancing from the Semi-Final round will face off to determine who
    will be named The Dance Summit Champion. Ties will not be broken at The Dance Summit – in
    the event of a tie for first place, The Dance Summit will name Co-Champions.

Dance Summit Master Classes

They had so much fun in 2021 that they are back again this season! Autumn & Krista Miller will be joining us at #TheDanceSummit22 on Friday, April 29th to host two 90-minute FREE master classes, exclusive to athletes and coaches followed by photo opportunities! Put on your dancing shoes, because more information about times and location will be coming soon!

This weekend, 10 outstanding all-star cheer teams made their mark by capturing the title of Triple Crown Champions. Earning this recognition requires teams to claim first place in their division at three premier national events: CHEERSPORT Nationals, the NCA All-Star National Championship, and the UCA All Star National Championship. Across each of these highly competitive stages, these teams proved their excellence with powerful performances, sharp execution, and consistency. Winning once at this level is an accomplishment — doing it three times across the season speaks to the talent of each program! Meet Your 2026 West Coast Cup Cheer & Dance Champions

The race for the 2026 West Coast Cup was back on this season for season 3 for cheer teams, plus season 2 of the West Coast Cup race for dance teams! The West Coast Cup is a prestigious honor following all star cheer & dance teams' journey at select West Coast events. To earn the honor of being named a West Coast Cup champion, cheer teams must be the highest scoring D1 or D2  team in their division at these three events: The American Grand - Grand Nationals in Las Vegas, NV, Spirit Sports Grand Nationals in Palm Springs, CA, and the USA All Star Cheer Super Nationals in Anaheim, CA. On the dance side, teams must earn first place at the GSSA Grand Nationals in Bakersfield, CA, Spirit Sports Grand Nationals in Palm Springs, CA, and the USA All Star Dance Super Nationals in Anaheim, CA.
