It’s that time of year again that YOU get to choose which high school and college cheer teams you want to see featured on Varsity TV this upcoming year! Nominate and vote during the 2020 Cheerleader's Choice: School Spirit Spotlight.

Varsity TV wants to share the untold stories of the transformative teams and athletes that are making the world a more spirited place. Help us shine a light on the programs that elevate school spirit, champion their communities, and drive competitive excellence. 20 teams will make it into the voting round with 5 teams selected as winners! 

In 2019, more than 650 nominations were sent in from fans for their favorite high school and college cheer team! A total of 20,583 votes were cast among the top 20 teams selected. NC State University, Dyer County High School, Fossil Ridge High School, Desoto Central High School, and Edinburg High School were the fan favorites last season and were featured on Varsity TV!

What’s New This Year?

New this season, Varsity TV will be releasing the 2020 Cheerleader's Choice: School Spirit Spotlight winners, along with the newest Varsity TV documentary Game Day: NC State revealed for the first time ever LIVE on Saturday, September 12th!

Know A Deserving Spirit Program?

Share their story and nominate them to be crowned Cheerleader's Choice! 

We want to know what makes your favorite spirit program special—both on and off the mat. From storied traditions to starting a legacy all their own, each team has their own story and we want to help tell it. 

Nominations for the 2020 Cheerleader's Choice School Spirit Spotlight will start on Monday, August 10th at  8 AM CT and will conclude on Friday, August 21st at 11:59 PM CT.

WATCH LIVE!

This year, the winners of the 2020 Cheerleader's Choice: School Spirit Spotlight will be released LIVE on Varsity TV! But before we do that, tune in all day long on Saturday, September 12th to watch a celebration of previous features from past Cheerleader's Choice winners to get a taste of what's to come for the new winners. We are excited to release the new Varsity TV Cheerleader's Choice documentary, Game Day: NC State. Then, to top off a day full of excitement, the 2020-2021 winners will be announced.
