The competition kicked off this morning with dance from all different categories taking the stage in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Arena.

The first round of awards have wrapped up and the Mini, Tiny and Youth Hip Hop Divisions have been announced.

The Mini Hip Hop teams were some of the first to perform in Arena North and these small dancers delivered a big punch!

Rhythm Extreme Dance Studio took home the championship title and was one of the first champions of the weekend to be crowned. The squad of 22 brought high energy to their performance as they executed difficult headsprings, kip cups and preps.

Congratulations To The Mini Hip Hop Champs, Rhythm Extreme!

Prima Dance Studio incorporated full squad headsprings and fun floor work to help earn them the championship title. This squad's hard work paid off today and they get to take home their own set of black championship jackets home with them to Knoxville, TN.

Congratulations Mini Coed Hip Hop Champs, Prima Dance Studio!

The Tigercubs routine started off strong with powerful lifts and strong energy. This squad brought the perfect amount of all star sass to make this memorable routine, a winning routine!

Meet Your 2026 West Coast Cup Cheer & Dance Champions

The race for the 2026 West Coast Cup was back on this season for season 3 for cheer teams, plus season 2 of the West Coast Cup race for dance teams! The West Coast Cup is a prestigious honor following all star cheer & dance teams' journey at select West Coast events. To earn the honor of being named a West Coast Cup champion, cheer teams must be the highest scoring D1 or D2  team in their division at these three events: The American Grand - Grand Nationals in Las Vegas, NV, Spirit Sports Grand Nationals in Palm Springs, CA, and the USA All Star Cheer Super Nationals in Anaheim, CA. On the dance side, teams must earn first place at the GSSA Grand Nationals in Bakersfield, CA, Spirit Sports Grand Nationals in Palm Springs, CA, and the USA All Star Dance Super Nationals in Anaheim, CA.
