18 Teams To Represent USA At The 2019 ICU World Cheerleading Championships

The U.S. National Teams are hard at work preparing for the upcoming 2019 ICU World Cheerleading Championships that take place this week in Orlando, Florida at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

There are more than 400 athletes representing the USA this week across 18 different divisions. The red, white and blue spirit will be flying high as these athletes compete April 24-26 at the 2019 Junior World Cheerleading Championships and World Cheerleading Championships.

The U.S. National All Girl Premier Team is bouncing back from a second place finish to Finland last year so that means their path to redemption is going to be epic! Expect the Ladies of Liberty to deliver stunts & pyramids that are out of this world.

Meanwhile, the U.S. National Coed Premier Team will be defending their streak of World Championships with one of their most elite routines to date. These athletes have some amazing skills lined up to wow the crowd here in Orlando.

In 2018, the United States secured six gold, five silver, and one bronze medal at the ICU World Cheerleading Championships.

If you couldn't make it to Orlando this week, you can cheer on the Eagles from home! The 2019 ICU World Cheerleading Championships will be streamed live on the Olympic Channel April 26th.
