In order to receive airport transfers, flights must arrive into Honolulu International Airport (HNL) and book flights through ALTOUR.
PLEASE NOTE: Flights to Honolulu are NOT INCLUDED in the cost of the performance package. Should there be flight delays or weather cancellations on arrival or departure days, we will be able to accommodate you better with tickets purchased through ALTOUR, a travel management company. PLEASE NOTE: Beginning July 8, 2021, individuals fully vaccinated in the United States or its Territories may enter Hawaii on domestic flights without pre-travel testing/quarantine starting the 15th day after the completion of their vaccination. All other travelers must have their negative test results from a Trusted Testing and Travel Partner prior to departing as an alternative to Hawaii’s mandatory 10-day quarantine.
Tour Cost, Reservations & Payments: The total number accepted for the tour is limited. Completed reservation application and $200 (non-refundable) per person deposit must be received in the Varsity Spirit office on or before the dates listed below. You may fax in your registration forms to Varsity Spirit. However, rooms are not guaranteed until deposits or a school purchase order has been received in the Varsity Spirit office. (Deposits are credited toward your total cost.)
Pricing for spectators and participants is calculated based on the total number of people in the room. For example, if there are three total people in the room, it is a triple, two people is a double, etc. Once you have the total number of people who will be in each room, each person will pay that price based on if they are a spectator or participant. For example, if there is one participant going with two family members, they will be in a triple room. The participant will pay the triple participant price and each of the two spectators will pay the spectator price.

Important: The total number accepted for this tour is limited. It is possible that this tour may fill up before posted deadlines. Therefore, we strongly recommend you send your registration forms and deposit in early. Flights to Honolulu also fill quickly. Be sure to make flight arrangements as early as possible.
Confirmation: After completed reservation application is received, a reservation confirmation will be sent to you via email. If paying with credit card you will need to call into the office once this confirmation email is received.
Cancellations & Refunds: For cancellations received in the Varsity Spirit office ON OR BEFORE September 17, 2021, all monies will be refunded with the exception of the $200 deposit. For cancellations made in the Varsity Spirit office between September 18, 2021, and October 22, 2021, an additional $100 per person penalty will apply to cover guarantees. For cancellations received AFTER October 22, 2021, there will be no refund.
Not withstanding the foregoing, in the event that this event is cancelled by the event producer or if Varsity Spirit terminates its participation in the event, attendees will receive a full refund for their registration fees that they have paid Varsity Spirit as of the date of cancellation/termination.
Flight Arrangements to Honolulu: We suggest you use ALTOUR Travel to make your flight arrangements as they have discounted fares available. Airport transportation will be provided for those Varsity package attendees who book their flight through ALTOUR. If there are flight delays or weather cancellations on arrival or departure days, we will be able to accommodate you better with tickets purchased through ALTOUR Travel Management. VARSITY SPIRIT LLC shall not be liable for any losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedule or any other causes. The right is reserved to decline, to accept, or to retain any tour passenger should such person’s health or general deportment impede the operation of the tour to the detriment of other passengers. No refunds for tour portions or unused services can be made unless agreed prior to the scheduled deadlines. Your retention of tickets, reservations, or bookings after issuance shall constitute a consent to the above and agreement on your part to convey the contents herein to your traveling companions. Payment of any deposit of final payment shall be deemed to constitute consent be each passenger to these terms. Baggage is carried at the owner’s risk and baggage insurance is strongly recommended. It is also recommended that each participant in this tour have his or her own attorney review this RESPONSIBILITY DISCLOSURE NOTICE before indicated his or her consent by signing the reservation form.

Includes top and skirt for females and top and shorts for males. All participants will need to bring white tennis shoes and white socks. Uniforms will be shipped two weeks prior to the event.

How much spending money should I bring with me?
That’s up to you. You will only need money for meals not included in the package and miscellaneous items such as snacks and souvenirs.
How often will I receive updates?
We try to communicate regularly with all attendees. Most of the communication will come through email or our Facebook page. If you’re not receiving emails or have additional email addresses you’d like added to our distribution list then email John Calitri at email@example.com.
My coach is coming to Hawaii as a spectator. Can he/she attend practice? Can my parents?
In order to eliminate all distractions and comply with social distancing, our rehearsals are closed to all spectators. This will hopefully allow us to streamline the practices which in turn should allow for more time on the beach or exploring Hawaii!
What happens if I get injured or become ill during the event?
We will have first aid staff on duty throughout the event. Additional medical treatment is at the expense of the participant.
When do we need to arrive to Honolulu?
Standard arrival day is Saturday, December 4. We do offer a limited number of extra nights (additional fee applies) on Thursday, December 3 for those requesting an early arrival. We suggest arriving as early as you can so that you can get registered and start enjoying Hawaii. It will also allow for any potential flight delays due to weather.
Do we have to follow the group itinerary when it comes to excursions?
No, the only required event is rehearsal for performers if they’d like to participate in the parade performance. However, the trips we have planned are amazing opportunities to appreciate what others have given to help ensure our freedom and to learn about the Hawaiian culture. We’d suggest asking your schools for excused absence since educational opportunities exist on this trip.

How do we know what size uniform to order?
Watch this short video with instructions on how to properly measure for your uniform. Please note: Your current Varsity uniform will more than likely be a different fit than the uniform we use for Special Events.
My performer already has a uniform from a past Varsity Spirit Special Event. Is the uniform the same and do we get a discount?
The uniform for the 2021 Varsity Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade is different from any other Varsity special event uniform so all performers will receive the uniform.
What is the difference between the Participant and Spectator pricing?
The uniform, choreography material and parade opportunity are the only differences. Everything that is listed as INCLUDED in the tour package is available to everyone.
