🗓️ Event Itinerary

PLEASE NOTE: This itinerary is subject to change based on local health regualtions. A final, more detialed itinerary will be emailed to all registered attendees closer to the event date. 

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 26TH: Travel Day

  • Depart from your gateway airport on a jet for your flight to Rome
  • Fly overnight with a Varsity Spirit Staff Member, other All-Americans and families, and enjoy dinner, beverages, and on-board entertainment.
  • Enjoy a good night’s sleep and a little breakfast before touching downin Rome!

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 27TH : Arrive inRome!

  • Once off the aircraft, pass through customs and immigration before being met by a Rome Parade Representative.
  • Make the next part of the journey to central Rome by motor coach to your hotel.
  • Upon arrival at the hotel, check into your room and get settled (room availability is based upon previous night’s hotel occupancy).
  • Adventure out into Rome. Dinner this evening will be served at the hotel.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 28TH: Tour the Eternal City

  • A breakfast buffet will be served at your hotel
  • Gather by bus groups this morning to depart for a Rome Panoramic Tour
  • Lunch is on your own and the afternoon is free for you to explore Rome. You can use your audio tours included in the pakcage to do a “Rome Revealed Walking Tour” and/or a “Rome Parade Walking Tour”
  • Dinner this evening will be provided at a resturant in central Rome
  • Rome by Night Tour with a photo stop on the way back to the hotel via bus

MONDAY, DECEMBER 29TH: Day trip to Florence

  • A breakfast buffet will be served at your hotel
  • Depart by motor coach for Roma Termini Station to depart by train to Florence
  • Once arriving in Florence, lunch is on your own
  • Spend the day exploring inlcuding a Florence Audio walking tour
  • Dinner is provided at a resturant in FLorence before returning to Rome via train

TUESAY, DECEMBER 30TH: Vatican and Parade Rehearsal

  • A breakfast buffet will be served at your hotel
  • Your will then depart from the hotel via motor coach for the Vatican Tour
  • Lunch will be on your own in the Vatican area
  • Free afternoon to explore the Vatican area
  • Return to the hotel via bus for parade rehearsal
  • Dinner for the All-Americans will be served at the hotel followed by rehearsal for the parade performance
  • Specators will go via bus to a local resturant for dinner. After dinner, you will return the hotel via bus.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31ST: Happy New Year’s Eve!

  • A breakfast buffet will be served at your hotel
  • After breakfast, depart by coach from your hotel for a tour of the Colosseum and Romaan Forum
  • Lunch will be on your own in the Colosseo area with an afternoon free to explore
  • New Year’s Eve dinner at the hotel
  • Ring in the New Year with a private party before turning in for the night!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! THURSDAY, JANUARY 1ST: Parade Day!

  • A breakfast buffet will be served at your hotel
  • Depart the hotel via coach for the Rome New Year’s Day Parade
  • Your performance group will have a professional photograph taken in your performance uniform
  • Perform in the Rome New Year’s Day Parade!
  • After the parade, return to the hotel. Enjoy dinner at the hotel

FRIDAY, JANUARY 2ND: Depart home from Rome! 

  • With your belongings and memories all packed, it’s time to board your motor coach and head to the airport for your return flight to the U.S.
  • During the daytime flight home, you will be served lunch shortly after take-off and afternoon tea shortly before arrival.
  • Complimentary refreshments and inflight entertainment will also be provided as you travel home in comfort following what will have been an extraordinary week on the Rome Varsity Spirit All-American Tour

TOUR COST, RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS: The total number accepted for the tour is limited. Completed reservation application and $500.00 (non-refundable) per person deposit MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE VARSITY SPIRIT LLC OFFICE on or before the dates listed below: (This deposit is credited towards your total cost.) There will be a fee of $325 for a single room request.

HOW DOES PRICING WORK? All prices listed on the pricing sheet are per person. There will be a fee of $325 for a single room request.

PAYMENT DEADLINES: $500 per person deposit due by the following dates below:*

  • Attend camp in June, your registration is due on July 11, 2025
  • Attend camp in July, your registration is due on August 15, 2025
  • Attend camp in August, your registration is due on September 15, 2025

SECOND PAYMENT OF $1,200 PER PERSON IS DUE ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 25, 2025.

FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE IN THE VARSITY SPIRIT LLC OFFICE ON OR BEFORE OCTOBER 30, 2025. UNIFORMS WILL NOT BE SHIPPED UNTIL THE BALANCE OF PAYMENT IS MADE.

*Ships may sell out prior to deadlines. Registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis with deposit. After September 15, please call the Varsity Spirit LLC office for availability at 800-238-0286 (option 2) for availability.

Cancellations on or before September 25, 2025 will receive a full refund except for the $500 deposit. For cancellations between September 26, 2025 and October 14, 2025 an additional $1000 per person penalty will apply. After October 15, 2025 there will be no refunds.

CHAPERONES: Each All-American must have at least ONE adult chaperone. However, if there is more than one All-American attending from your school, you may have one chaperone for up to two All-Americans and must all room together. Adult Chaperones must be 21 years of age or older. Varsity Spirit LLC is not responsible for supervising the All-Americans.

✈️ Travel Planning

Roundtrip airfare from a USA gateway city to Rome is included in the cost of the tour.

Roundtrip airfare from your hometown to a gateway city is not included in the cost of the tour and will be the responisbilty of the attendees.

Gateway Cities for 2025 will be released soon.

Uniform Information

Female athletes will receive a uniform top, skirt, breifs, pullover and poms. Male athletes will receive a unifrom top, pants and a pullover.  All participants will need to bring white tennis shoes and white socks. Uniforms will be shipped two weeks prior to the event.
