The Summit, the most prestigious cheer and dance championship for athletes in the non-Worlds divisions, is right around the corner. The best of the best teams from across the globe in Levels 1-6 will compete from April 27th through April 30th at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. 

There is no better way to prepare for the exciting weekend of competition than to look back at some of the top-scoring routines that ended in triumph last season. 

Check out these 10 must-see teams that made the climb all the way to the top and earned championship titles! Each of these spectacular teams topped their divisions and ended the championship with near-perfect scores at The Summit in 2022.

The California All Stars – Las Vegas – Blackjacks

L4 Senior Coed – Small

Event Score: 99.5

The California All Stars Blackjacks made their climb all the way to the top of The Summit winning back-to-back gold medals in the Level 4 Senior Coed Small division. The team brought home The California All Stars Las Vegas location's eighth Summit win. Blackjacks not only earned the highest score in all Level 4 divisions but also ended the weekend with the highest score of the entire championship scoring 99.5!

SC Cheer – Scarlet

L3 Senior – Small

Event Score: 98.85

Taking the second-highest score in the competition was SC Cheer Scarlet. The team made their way all the way to Orlando, Florida, to secure the L3 Senior Medium title! Not only did this team win their division, but their energy and passion in their routine also led the team to score 98.85, the highest score across the Level 3 divisions!

The California All Stars – Livermore – J Fab

L3 Junior – Medium 

Event Score: 98.75

J Fab from The California All Stars fought to the finish in the Level 3 competition in 2022. After an extraordinary Semi-Final round of competition, only 0.3 points separated first through third place. J Fab sat in the third-place spot heading into Finals but after a spectacular performance, the team rose to the top of the leaderboard to finish their season as The Summit Champions. 

Star Athletics ATL – Boom

L5 Senior Coed – Large

Event Score: 98.7

Star Athletics ATL Boom made their way from the Wild Card round to top the L5 Senior Coed Large division. Earning a 98.7 the team won The Summit and Grand Champions of all Level 5 teams!

Power House All Stars – Godspeed 

L1 Junior – Medium

Event Score: 98.6143

Godspeed claimed gold by earning the highest score of all Level 1 divisions at The Summit with a final score of 98.6143! The teams' flexible style is so unique it guaranteed the best start to the weekend leaving Godspeed sitting in first place after the Semi-Finals. With eyes on the prize in Finals, the team secured their second Summit Champion title with a final score of 98.6143. 

The California All Stars – Mesa- Vogue

L1 Senior- Small

Event Score: 98.587

The California All Stars Vogue had a massive weekend at The Summit 2022 winning the Level 1 Senior Small division!  After scoring well and earning an impressive lead in the Semi-Final round of competition, the team took to the Finals mat with gold medals on their mind. Vogue finished an incredible 3.8 points ahead of second place ending their season as The Summit Champions! 

CheerVille Athletics MJ – Phantom

L5 Senior Coed – Small

Event Score: 98.55

This action-packed routine swept the L5 Senior Coed Small competition earning a 98.55! Phantom wowed the judges with their sharp stunts and kept the energy alive until the very last dance move to win it all!

CheerForce San Diego – Choas

L5 Junior Coed – Small

Event Score: 98.15

Chaos made their way from the Wild Card round to top the L5 Junior Coed Large division earning a 98.15!

The Stingray Allstars – Marietta – Green

L6 Junior Coed – Large

Event Score: 98.1

The Stingrays Allstars Green put on a spectacular performance to secure the L6 Junior Coed Large championship title. Greens' elite difficulty paired with flawless execution earned them a final score of 98.1. The team earned the highest score in all Level 6 divisions.

Rival Athletics – Revenge

L4 Junior – Small

Event Score: 98.1

Revenge brought the heat to Orlando taking first place in the L4 Junior Small division earning a  final score of 98.1!
