The CHEERSPORT Concord Spring Classic visits the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center in Concord, North Carolina, in 2024, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event.

The Concord Spring Classic is the last of 16 competitions on the CHEERSPORT calendar for 2024. 

The events give the All Star teams the chance to see many great cities, including Phoenix; Reading, Pennsylvania; Toms River, New Jersey; Boston; Concord, North Carolina; and many more.

CHEERSPORT was started in 1993 by all star coaches who loved competitive cheerleading and wanted to put their own spin on competition, while making sure their own passion and appreciation for the sport were reflected in the quality of the events.

Every event is another opportunity to exceed everyone’s expectations!

Enjoy complete coverage of the event, as standout teams from Division I and Division II go head-to-head with their sights set on obtaining points to The League and a bid to one of the prestigious end-of-season championships!

What To Know About The Cabarrus Arena & Events Center

The 2024 CHEERSPORT Concord Spring Classic will be held at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center in Concord, North Carolina.

The property includes an arena, event center, two-room multi-purpose hall, smaller meeting rooms and an 11-acre outdoor midway.

The venues remain busy most of the year, hosting more than 150 events across more than 300 days – everything from meetings to trade shows to dinner parties to sporting events to other entertainment.

Since being settled around 1750, Concord has been linked to gold, cotton, textiles – it even has a role in North Carolina’s racing culture as the home of Charlotte Motor Speedway, a motorsport complex that frequently hosts top-tier races. 

There are many historical locations, buildings and landmarks to explore, along with games and activities for the whole family.

If you love racing, Charlotte Motor Speedway and all the museums and attractions that celebrate and showcase cars and racing might be enough to fill your schedule.

Concord Mills also is a fun spot for an afternoon of shopping or traditional mall/food court food, while the area has a Great Wolf Lodge (water park), if a relaxing day in the water sounds nice.

The League By Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?” 

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star Event this season will be included in The League by Varsity All Star. 

Team rankings are determined by the Points System displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. 

At the end of the season, your five best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank. 

In total, 120 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions, meaning 40 champions will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
