Q: How much spending money should I bring with me? A: That’s up to you. You will only need money for meals not included in the package and miscellaneous items such as snacks and souvenirs. You will need to plan for all meals with the exception of the one breakfast at the Marriott, lunch at Kualoa Ranch, and dinner at the luau. You may also plan for miscellaneous items such as snacks and souvenirs.
Q: How often will I receive updates? A: We try to communicate regularly with all attendees. Once registered, attendees will receive a confirmation email. After that, all event communication will come through the BAND app. Everyone will need to download the app and join the group in order to receive updates.
Q: My coach is coming to Hawaii as a spectator. Can he/she attend practice? Can my parents? A: In order to eliminate all distractions, our rehearsals are closed to all spectators. This will hopefully allow us to streamline the practices which in turn should allow for more time on the beach or exploring Hawaii!
Q: What happens if I get injured or become ill during the event? A: We will have first aid staff on duty throughout the event. Additional medical treatment is at the expense of the participant.
Q: When do we need to arrive in Honolulu? A: Standard arrival day is Tuesday, June 9th. We do offer a limited number of extra nights starting before and after the standard dates (additional fee applies). We suggest arriving as early as you can so that you can get registered and start enjoying Hawaii. It will also allow for any potential flight delays due to weather.
Q: Do we have to follow the group itinerary when it comes to excursions? A: No, the only required event is rehearsal for performers if they’d like to participate in the parade performance.
Q: How Much Walking/Performing does the parade require? A: The parade covers a long distance. The parade itself is almost 4 miles long, of which we’ll walk half. Performers will be moving/performing the entire time when not on the trolley.
Q: We missed our deadline for registration and deposit… Are we too late? A: Please call our Customer Service at 844-709-0644 option 2 for availability.
Q: How do we know what size uniform to order? A: Watch this short video with instructions on how to properly measure for your uniform. Please note: Your current Varsity uniform will more than likely be a different fit than the uniform we use for Special Events. Please note that any uniform alterations needed are at the expense of the attendees.
Q: What is the difference between the Participant and Spectator pricing? A: The uniform, choreography material and parade opportunity are the only differences. Everything that is listed as INCLUDED in the tour package is available to everyone.
