If your school isn’t already working with Varsity Yearbook, here’s a chance to learn a little bit about your local, yearbook-loving, customer-service-obsessed rep(s).
Denise started her yearbook journey in high school as the editor-in-chief. She then earned a B.S. in Journalism, focusing on business and public relations, along with an M.A. in Secondary Education from West Virginia University. She moved to Virginia to teach English and advise The Apollo at Colonial Forge High School in Stafford, VA, which eventually led to her career as a yearbook sales representative for the past 18 years. As a Herff Jones and Varsity Yearbook representative, Denise holds Certified Journalism Educator (CJE) status from the Journalism Education Association/National Scholastic Press Association. She also runs two local workshops for students and advisers through her YBKNVA office. Denise lives with her family in Mechanicsville, Virginia, and represents Central and Tidewater Virginia.

"Denise Miller is an exceptional rep who knows her job and improves our book and experience annually. She collaborates well with advisers and teens, being responsive, patient, and flexible. Her expert eye quickly diagnoses and solves problems. If she retires, I will stop teaching Yearbook because Denise is the GOAT of reps."
Michael White, Maggie L. Walker Governor's School
"They care!! Denise and Chrissy are the best!! We enjoy working in the eDesign program! We appreciate the quick responses to any issues, big or small! Denise knows her job so well. I love that I have her in my corner because there is never a problem too big or too small. I know I can depend on her with anything yearbook-related."
Aline Geryes, Prince George High School
"I love the quick responses and the care for quality products. It was my first year doing this, and I needed a lot of help. My reps were amazing in answering all my questions. The plant's attention to detail was also a plus; they could have easily left my mistakes, but they fixed them instead."
Caitlyn Mahoney, Caroline Middle School
