The squads in Cheer Division lA are some of the most elite teams you will see at the 2018 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship this weekend in Orlando, Florida.

In 2017, The University of Kentucky Wildcats continued their golden legacy when they took home their 22nd national championship title. The Cats are known for delivering a clean routine full of innovative and elite skills.

Will they continue their win streak in 2018? Tune in to Varsity TV this Saturday, January 13, at 12:09 PM ET to watch UK perform live in Div. lA semifinals.

The University of Alabama has always been a top contender, and with the addition of their new coach Christa Sanford, the team hopes to bring a new competitive edge to their routine 2018.

In 2017, the Crimson Tide placed second behind Kentucky. Bama has already won one national championship this week — can the Tide roll to a second this weekend in Orlando? Don’t miss their semifinal performance on Saturday at 12:36 PM ET, live on Varsity TV.

The University of Mississippi earned their highest rank ever with a third-place finish at UCA College Nationals in 2017. The Ole Miss Spirit Squad is known for creating an incredible game day atmosphere back home in Oxford, and the team is working hard to bring that same level of excellence to the competition floor. 

Former Kentucky and Alabama cheerleader Ryan O'Connor took over the head coaching position for the Rebels this season and is working to lead the team to success on the field and on the mat.

The Knights of the University of Central Florida are another must-watch team at this year's championship. UCF has been on the rise year after year as the continue to incorporate more difficult skills in their routine. They're a seasoned team full of talent, and sure to give a top-notch performance on the nationals mat.
