Upcoming Events To Secure Points Towards The League

The month of December is a busy one for All Star cheerleading with competitions taking place across the nation. Teams have shown off their routines for family and friends, but now it's time to take it to the next step by showing off on the mat and securing a bid to end-of-the-season events as well as points towards The League by Varsity All Star.  This first weekend in December kicks off all the action, giving teams the opportunity to get ahead on Leaderboard. Points are up for grabs at 14 different events throughout the weekend of December 2-3 and teams are going head-to-head to see who will be crowned champions at the end of the season and earn maximum points towards The League by Varsity All Star.

Here is a breakdown of what's happening, and what points are up for grabs across the regions.

Southeast Region: 

• JAMfest Jacksonville Classic* – 300 Points 
• CHEERSPORT Raleigh Classic* – 400 Points
• CHEERSPORT Cartersville Classic – 400 Points
• UCA Jackson Classic – 300 Points
• UCA Sevierville Showdown – 300 Points

Northeast Region:

• America's Best Springfield Challenge* – 300 Points
• Champion Cheer and Dance Grand Nationals – 500 Points

West Region:

• The American Northwest Portland Nationals – 400 points
• PacWest Arizona Challenge* – 400 points
• Cheer Power Holiday Roseville Showdown* – 400 points 

Midwest Region: 

• WSF Grand Nationals – 600 Points 
• CHEERSPORT Council Bluffs Classic* – 400 Points 

Southwest Region: 

• Spirit Celebration Christmas Grand Nationals – 600 Points 
• Cheer Power Holiday Showdown Galveston* – 400 Points

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?” 

Every team who competes at a Varsity All Star Event this season will be included in The League. Team rankings are determined by the Points System displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team completes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. 

At the end of the season, your top 5 Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank. In total, 120 winners will be recognized from 1st – 3rd place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the 5 regions across the 8 eligible divisions, meaning 40 champions will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
