Ready To Duel: SCV All-Stars

The SCV All-Stars are back in Palm Springs and ready to battle it out at Spirit Sports: Duel In The Desert!

The California program has been attending Duel In The Desert since 2006 and has earned over 35+ National Titles and several Grand Champion awards across all levels.

The gym has also earned multiple Paid Summit Bids, At-Large Summit Bids and a bid to The Cheerleading Worlds at Duel in the Desert

This weekend, SCV is bringing 8 teams back to the championship with a goal of adding a few more titles to their trophy case.

“Spirit Sports is a great national event to prep for NCA Nationals, Worlds and The Summit. The best of the best on the West Coast compete at Duel in the Desert and it serves as a great indication of where we currently stand at this point in the season.”

This season SCV is hoping their clean execution and strong technique will set them apart from other west coast competitors. “We really strive to have each routine showcase the work our athletes and coaches put into teaching and performing the proper technique,” explained SCV Coach, Danielle Wick.

One thing that is universal in their program is their love of performing. This season the teams really enjoy their pyramid and dance choreography.

“Our innovative and creative stunt and pyramid sections tend to stand out,” explained Wick. “We work with Ray Jasper and the Action Spirit staff to try to create several unique transitions throughout the sequence that we haven't seen anyone else do before.”

Everyone is excited to see SCV All-Stars in action this weekend including NFL superstar & Houston Texan, J.J. Watt!
