Port City Athletics Represents For Maine!

In their inaugural year, Port City Athletics not only started a brand new all star program, but also earned their way to The D2 Summit! This program representing Portland, Maine earned their way to the end of season finale for small gyms with hard work and determination.

Their first-year program houses 4 teams: Tiny Tuts (pre-exhibition), Giza Girls (Small Junior 2), Lady Lotus (Small Senior 4.2), and AfterLife (International Open Level 4). In addition to all-star teams, their facility provides tumbling, flexibility, and strength and conditioning services.

Port City Athletics earned two At-Large bids to The D2 Summit: Giza Girls and Lady Lotus. The Giza Girls represent Northeast Knockout for Spirt Sports and Lady Lotus is attending after being recognized by CHEERSPORT Nationals in Atlanta, GA. Their coaches are truly excited about showcasing their routines.

It is a tremendous honor to represent the state of Maine during our inaugural year while showcasing our teams’ hard work and dedication throughout the season. We believe this event truly embodies the “climb” our teams make all season and we are excited to watch them reach new heights at the pinnacle event for small gyms in our industry.

Led by Coaches Devin Rheaume & Karly Cannell, the program is one to watch as they gain momentum heading into the end of their first season and into the next.
