Must-Watch Division At NCA: Advanced Small Varsity Crowd Performance

The 2023 NCA High School Nationals is finally here and teams from all over the country are making their way to Dallas, Texas to prove they have what it takes to take home the title and win the coveted NCA National Championship black jackets!

As the weekend approaches, let’s take a look into the Advanced Small Varsity Crowd Performance division. The Crowd Performance divisions emphasize crowd-leading ability with crowd-effective material. Routines in these divisions will still include transitional stunts and pyramids but the cheer section will encourage a crowd response as if you were leading the fans at an actual game! Teams can use all sideline-appropriate props such as signs, poms, and megaphones in their routines.

Advanced Small Varsity Crowd Performance

Moore High School

After hitting a zero-deduction routine in Finals, the Lions finished on top in the division with a 96.95! Do they have what it takes to defend their title in 2023? Be sure to watch the action unfold right here on Varsity TV!

Rockwall-Heath High School

Rockwall-Heath High School placed second in the Advanced Large Varsity Game Performance division last year and the Hawks are preparing to bring the heat as they take on their new division in 2023!

Union High School

Last year, Union High School placed fourth in this competitive division with a score of 94.2125! The team’s high-paced routine was filled with lots of energy and a crowd-engaging cheer. Will Union High School take home the title in 2023? Find out on Varsity TV as we give you a front-row seat to watch this exciting event unfold!

Marietta High School, Little Rock Central High School, and Neshoba Central High School will also be competing in the Advanced Small Varsity Crowd Performance division.
