Large Varsity Teams To Watch: UCA Bluegrass Regional 2024

The 2024-2025 competition season is underway, and teams are making their way to Lexington, Kentucky, this weekend in hopes of securing a bid to the 2025 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship. On November 23 and 24, Varsity TV will be streaming the 2024 UCA Bluegrass Regional, which will feature some of the top teams in the nation, as well as some loaded fan-favorite divisions, including Large Varsity DI.

Every year, the Large Varsity DI Divisions bring top performances to the stage at NHSCC. But it all starts at a Regional event, where you have to earn a bid to head to the Walt Disney World Resort in February. Some of the top contenders year after year include 7 of the very teams that we will see this weekend at the UCA Bluegrass Regional. Tates Creek, Houston, Frederick Douglass, Independence, Conner, Bullitt East, and Ryle High School l will take on the Large Varsity DI division.
