Get to know Justin Carrier, Vice President of All Star Experience!

What is your favorite thing about your job?

Getting to re-experience all star in the eyes of the athletes up close like when I was growing up in all star.

When did you first get in to the all star cheer and dance community?

I did a Coed Stunt Clinic my junior year in HS. I was hooked.  Then I joined Acrocheer A’s my senior year and coaches the Youth and Junior team.

Who is your hero and why?

Randy Lyons, my first all star coach, who taught me how to stunt, how to work with a team and pushed me to try out for college cheer and NCA Staff.

If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would you do?

Take a nap. A 24 hour nap.

What is one thing that motivates you the most?

Seeing results and working towards a finish line or common goal.

What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?

I like to run races (5K, 10K, Half Marathons), watch tv, and grill on my patio.

What is one piece of advice you would have for your younger self?

Be gentle with yourself.  None of this is going to matter in 20 years and people being mean is about their issues with themselves, not their issues with you.

What is a quote that you live your life by?

“It’s a Dog-Eat-Dog world out there, and I’m wearing milkbone underwear.” – Norm from the TV Show, Cheers[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
