30 Titles & Counting: Fury Athletics

With seven seasons at The U.S. Finals under their belt and 30 titles in their trophy case, Fury Athletics is ready for a big weekend in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Missouri gym is bringing five teams to The U.S. Finals: Omaha on April 21 with the hopes of continuing their championship success. 

"Our team's style and strengths revolve around their creativity in building elements," said Fury coach Erin Heffron. "We have utilized eye-catching transitions and movements into all building elements throughout the routine."

Fury proudly does all of their choreography in-house by their coaches and the program hopes their use of the floor and attention to detail pays off on the competition mat.

The gym is excited for their teams to compete and showcase their hard work at The U.S. Finals this weekend.

"It is an amazing bar to reach for and it is a great season ender to have a prestigious competition to take the mat for the last time."

Heffron said building their athletes' endurance as their routines continued to get harder throughout the year was their biggest challenge this season.

Now that Fury's athletes are conditioned and ready to take the mat one last time, be sure to look out for their pyramid section, their athletes' favorite section of the routine to perform.

"The pyramid is most of the team’s favorite element because it takes the entire team to execute it and they can cheer each other on," Heffron added.
