Legends Cheer Academy II started their first year with just 22 athletes. 10 years later, the program has grown to eight teams, with a total of 114 athletes this season! Since their inaugural season, Legends has been able to secure to bids to The Summit and then began attending The D2 Summit and has attended it every year since.

“This competition is amazing, I don’t know how they do it, but every year it’s such an amazing time. The coaches, athletes and parents all love the venue, atmosphere and organization of this competition,” Katie Mosier.

After having all six eligible teams obtain D2 Summit bids last season, with three of them being paid bids, Legends Cheer Academy II is hoping to again have all of their eligible teams get bids to the 2019 D2 Summit. So far this season, three of their teams already have D2 Summit bids, two of those are paid bids.

The remaining three teams are hoping to gain their bids this weekend at JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals. Gym owner, Katie Mosier, expresses her love for this competition “This competition is amazing, I don’t know how they do it, but every year it’s such an amazing time. The coaches, athletes and parents all love the venue, atmosphere and organization of this competition,” Katie Mosier.

Following a day filled with back to back performances from Legends Cheer Academy, the program as a whole has had a great day 1 showing. This gym may be labelled a small gym, but their performances are anything but small!
