It's almost time to crown the new 2022 Division IA UCA College National Champions!

The Coed and All Girl IA divisions are always a must-watch as the divisions are full of teams you know and love, performing some of the best cheerleading routines you've ever seen.

Semi-Finals for the Division IA teams will take place starting at 10 AM ET on Saturday, January 15th in Arena South at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. The 2022 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship is coming your way soon so let's take a look back at the Division IA results from 2021!

University of South Florida

Cheer Division IA

Cheer Division IA is always one of the most anticipated divisions of the championship and the University of South Florida took home first last year with an event score of 90! The Bulls were tied for first with the University of Kentucky after Semi-Finals but claimed the championship title after executing one of the strongest Finals routines of the weekend.

This division is always a toss-up as a different team has claimed the championship title for the last three years. In 2020, the University of Central Florida charged their way to the top and in 2019 the Wildcats from the University of Kentucky earned their 24th UCA National Championship title.

Western Kentucky University

All Girl Division IA

The All Girl team from Western Kentucky University made history in 2021 claiming the program's first-ever UCA National Championship title!

The University of Mississippi had an impressive showing at the championship as well and the Rebels took home second place followed by the University of Alabama-Birmingham in third. Can WKU hold on to the top spot this year or will another contender prove victorious? Tune in to Varsity TV to find out LIVE!

University of Memphis

Small Coed Division IA

The University of Memphis is no secret to success at UCA College Nationals. With back-to-back-to-back wins, the Tigers now hold four Small Coed UCA College National Championship titles!

Memphis ended 2021 on top taking a 7.25 point lead over second-place Boise State University. Western Kentucky University took bronze to round out the top three. Will they continue to keep their winning tradition alive in 2022? We can't wait to find out!

University of Oklahoma

Virtual Coed Division IA

On the virtual side of the competition, the University Of Oklahoma took first in Division IA. The Sooners earned a Final score of 90.15 to top the University of Hawaii in second and Virginia Tech in third.

University of Oklahoma

Virtual All Girl Division IA

The University of Oklahoma sealed their win in the Virtual Division IA All Girl competition with a Final score of 90.2 making the Sooners two-time UCA College National Champions in 2021. The University of Nevada-Las Vegas took second in the division followed by the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in third.

University of Kansas

Virtual Small Coed Division IA

In the Virtual Small Coed Division IA competition, the University of Kansas became the 2021 UCA College National Champions. This win marked the team’s first victory in Small Coed Division IA and their first win since 1995!
