Please note: This itinerary is subject to change. A final, moreĀ detailedĀ itinerary will be emailed to all registered attendees closer to the event date. Limited space available.Ā 

Day One: December 28th

  • Arrive in Orlando, Florida
  • Arrivals and registration with Varsity Spirit Staff
  • Group Orientation and rehearsal

*PLEASE NOTE: Travel arrangements to Orlando are NOT INCLUDED inĀ the cost ofĀ the performance package. You are responsible for transportation from the airport to the hotel.Ā 

Day Two: December 29th

  • Breakfast at the Hard Rock CafĆ©
  • After breakfast, head to the parks where you can fight villains on The Incredible Hulk Coasterā„¢ or laugh along with Gru on the Despicable Me Minions Mayhemā„¢.

Day Three: December 30thĀ 

  • Buses will be shuttling off property for group rehearsal
  • The remainder of the day can be spent enjoying the UniversalĀ  Studios Resort Theme Parks

Day Four: December 31st

  • Dress rehearsal followed by your Cheez – It Citrus Bowl Halftime Performance!
  • Enjoy lunch on your own
  • The rest of the day will be spent enjoying the Universal Studios Resort Theme Parks

Day Five: January 1st

  • Check out of your hotel and depart home!

*You are responsible for providing your own transportation back to the airport.Ā 

Please note: One (1) chaperone 21 years or older is required per 10 participants.Ā 

This is a team event, but there is not a minimum number of team members that need to register. For example, if only 1 or 2 members are able to attend, they are welcome. If they whole team is able to go, that is also allowed.

TOUR COST, RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS: The total number accepted for the tour is limited. Completed reservation application and $200.00 (non-refundable) per person deposit MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE VARSITY SPIRIT OFFICE on or before the dates listed below: (This deposit is credited towards your total cost.)

HOW DOES PRICING WORK? Pricing is per person based on the total number of people in the room regardless if they are a participant or a spectator. For example, 3 participants and one spectator would be the quad rate per person. The participants would each pay the participant quad rate and the spectator would be the quad spectator price. All prices listed are per person.

PAYMENT DEADLINES: $200 per person deposit due by the following dates below:*

  • Attend camp in June, your registration is due on July 11, 2025
    Attend camp in July, your registration is due on August 15, 2025
    Attend camp in August, your registration is due on September 15, 2025

FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE IN THE VARSITY SPIRIT OFFICE ON OR BEFORE OCTOBER 30, 2025. UNIFORMS WILL NOT BE SHIPPED UNTIL THE BALANCE OF PAYMENT IS MADE.

*If final payment is not received on or before October 30, 2025 and special written arrangements are not made and approved with Varsity Spirit, you will automatically be removed from the tour, which will result in a complete forfeiture of all monies paid.

*Trips may sell out prior to deadlines. Registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis with deposit. After September 15, please call the Varsity Spirit office for availability at 800-238-0286 (option 2) for availability.

Cancellations on or before October 30, 2025 will receive a full refund for the $200 deposit. For cancellations between November 1, 2025 and November 9, 2025 an additional $100 per person penalty will apply. After November 10,Ā  2025, there will be no refunds.

All cancellations must be made in writing to Varsity Spirit. They can be emailed to the registration specialist below. Please note that we will not accept cancellations by phone.

Extra Nights: A limited number of rooms are automatically upgraded at an additional charge per room per night of $369. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to purchase an additional night. Adding an extra night does not automatically upgrade your park ticket.

Additional Park Tickets: Discounted park tickets are available to purchase for any family members not attending on a Varsity Spirit travel package. Please indicate on your registration form if you would like to purchase any additional tickets. Rates for passes are below:

CONFIRMATION: After completed reservation application is received, a reservation confirmation will be sent to you via email. If paying with credit card you will need to call into the office once this confirmation email is received.

CHAPERONES: EACH PARTICIPANT MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE ADULT CHAPERONE. However, if there is more than one athlete attending from your school, you may have one chaperone for up to two event participants. Adult Chaperones must be 21 years of age or older. Varsity Spirit is not responsible for supervising the Performers.

TRAVEL PROTECTION PLAN:

To help protect your travel investment, we have partnered with Trip Mate to provide an optional Travel Protection Plan for your trip. The Travel Protection Plan includes coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Missed Connection, Baggage Delay and more.

The Travel Protection plan must be purchased within 14 days of the date your initial payment/deposit for your trip is received in order to be eligible for the Optional Cancel For Any Reason benefit.

Females will receive a top, skirt, briefs, poms and a hair ribbon. Males will receive a top, pants, and poms if requested. Mascot All-Americans will receive a pullover.

Uniforms will be shipped two weeks prior to the event.

ā” Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much spending money should I bring with me?Ā A:Ā That’s up to you. You will only need money for meals not included in the package and miscellaneous items such as snacks and souvenirs.

Q: What happens if I get injured or become ill during the event?Ā A:Ā We will have first aid staff on duty throughout the event. Additional medical treatment is at the expense of the participant.

Q: When do we need to arrive to Orlando?Ā A:Ā Normal arrival day is December 28. We do offer a limited number of extra nights on December 27 for those requesting an early arrival. Be sure to check the cost of an extra night room.

Q: My participant already has a uniform from theĀ 2022, 2023 or 2024Ā Citrus Bowl Pre-Game Performance or Orlando Thanksgiving tour. Is the uniform the same and do we get a discount?Ā A: If your participant already has the uniform from the 2022, 2023 or 2024 Ā Citrus Bowl Pre-Game Performance or Orlando Thanksgiving tour that still fits and is in good condition, please indicate this on your uniform sheet and you may deduct $40 from your cost.

Q: We missed our deadline for registration and deposit… Are we too late?Ā A:Ā Please call Customer Service at 800-238-0286 and select Option 2 for availability.

Q: How do we know what size uniform to order?Ā A:Ā Watch this short video with instructions on how to properly measure for your uniform. *Please note: Your current Varsity uniform will more than likely be a different fit than the uniform we use for Special Events.

Q:Ā WhichĀ UniversalĀ parks can we visit?Ā A: Your tickets allow you to visit both Universal Studios and Universal Islands of Adventure!Ā If you choose to upgrade to a three park ticket you will be able to visit Universal’s Volcano Bay water park. Tickets cannot be used at Universal’s Epic Universe.

Q: What is the difference between Participant and Spectator pricing?Ā A:Ā The uniform and pre-game performance is the only difference. Everything that is listed as INCLUDED in the tour package is available to everyone.

Q: Does everyone with the tour group have to stay for the entire game?Ā A: We schedule our buses to take everyone back to the hotel following halftime. However, if you would like to stay for the entire game you may sign up to do so. We will have a signup sheet available during registration in Orlando.

Q: I have males on my cheer squad. How will they be incorporated into the performance?Ā A:Ā All male cheerleaders and their cheer partner will perform with the Varsity staff. Their routine will be taught during rehearsals in Orlando.

Mascot

Q: What does the Mascot’s performance consist of?Ā A:Ā All Mascots will perform on the field with the cheerleaders and dancers in their own school mascot costume.

Q: When will the mascots learn their routine?Ā A:Ā All Mascots will receive a link to learn a portion of the performance. The remainder of their routine will be taught to them during rehearsals in Orlando.

Q: Is the Mascot All-American pullover that’s included in the tour package meant to be worn over the mascot costume?Ā A:Ā No. The pullover is for you to wear anytime. Be sure to measure for your jacket without your costume on as exchanges are very limited.

Q: If we are flying to Orlando, how do I get my mascot costume there?Ā A:Ā Check with the airline you are flying on in advance to find out their regulations and restriction on oversized luggage.
