• • NDA Elite Camp Type – teams will enjoy the NDA camp experience they have come to know and love and also enjoy a master class with an industry professional.

  • Teams may preview and request routines they’d like taught at this session.

  • Camp will be held in a carpeted ballroom.

  • Enjoy a shorter packing list by not having to back bedding and towels!

  • Hotel meals will be buffet meals. Please be sure to submit any dietary restrictions prior to camp via the form in your myVarsity portal.

  • Packing additional late night snacks is recommended.

Master Instructor: MARKUS SHIELDS 

Markus Shields is a visionary choreographer, dancer, and creative director known for blending heart with high-impact artistry. Originally from Grand Rapids, MI, he quickly rose to prominence, creating award-winning choreography just a year into his journey. After relocating to Los Angeles, he trained and collaborated with elite talents like Tricia Miranda, Parris Goebel, Frank Gatson, and Charm La’Donna.  

A regular at legendary studios including Millennium Dance Complex and Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, Markus also teaches internationally and is represented by Bloc Talent Agency. His work has appeared in commercials for JW Marriott, Amtrak, and eBay, and his performances span stages with stars like Kendrick Lamar, Mariah Carey, Will Smith, and Megan Thee Stallion.  

From choreographing world tours for Latin pop icon Chayanne to directing for emerging artists, Markus brings soul, style, and storytelling to every project—always aiming to inspire, innovate, and leave a lasting impact on the world of entertainment.
