Dance team members that attend a National Dance Alliance camp can be nominated by NDA Staff to try out for the honor of being named an NDA All-American. When an athlete is nominated for or makes All-American, they are invited to perform at Special Events across the country — and world!

Audition Information

Here is more information about the NDA All-American process:

Who Can Audition for All-American?
  • Individuals who are nominated by NDA Staff throughout camp
  • Anyone who attends camp and learns a Team Dance is eligible for nomination
What Do I Have To Do During the Audition?
  • Each nominee will perform the Team Dance they learned on day 1 of camp
  • You will perform with other nominees who learned the same Team Dance as you
  • All nominees will be organized into audition lines before the audition begins
When and Where Are All-American Auditions?
  • Auditions typically take place on day 3 of camp, this may vary based on the camp schedule
  • Your Head Instructor will tell you the exact time and location of auditions
What Qualities Do Staff Look For In A Nominee?
  • All- American nominations are earned by dancers who exemplify all the qualities of the Merit Ribbons such as technical excellence, superior showmanship and spirit with the additional characteristics of a LEADER.
