Varsity Event Administration (VEA) is looking for hard-working, positive, and self-motivated individuals to join our seasonal team. Whether you’re interested in managing camps, providing first aid, or running our retail shop, there’s a place for you on our team! 

Who We Are 

VEA staff play a vital role in elevating the student experience at Varsity Spirit camps, competitions, and special events nationwide. From setup to breakdown, our team ensures every event runs smoothly, safely, and with spirit. 

Available Positions

Camp Managers and First Aid Staff 

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the overall safety and security of participants and coaches.
  • Collaborate with host site personnel and manage event resources.
  • Complete and implement Emergency Action Plans.
  • Conduct nightly inspections and stay on-site for the duration of the camp.
  • Lead event operations and foster a positive, professional environment. 
  • Provide basic first aid assistance for injuries.
  • Inspect facilities and weather conditions to identify and prevent hazards.
  • Support safety and security protocols.
  • Maintain professionalism and serve as a role model for participants. 

Varsity Spirit Shop Staff 

Responsibilities: 

  • Set up, inventory, and sell merchandise.
  • Operate POS and Mifi systems.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Dismantle and prepare merchandise for shipping. 

Requirements 

  • Must be 18+ years old. 
  • Employees must provide their own transportation and be reimbursed for their mileage.
  • Strong communication and tech skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for an extended period. 
  • Retail experience helpful.

All staff must complete:

  • Head injury recognition course
  • Online abuse prevention, recognition, and reporting training 
  • First Aid and CPR certification
