Bio: Shannah is originally from San Diego, CA, and currently resides in Scottsdale, AZ, where she works for NDA as the Staffing Director and V!ROC Dance Choreography Coordinator.

As a dancer, Shannah was a 4-year member and captain of the Ramona Song Team, a 4-year member and captain at CSU Long Beach, and competed at The Dance Worlds with Pace Elite.

As a coach and choreographer with over 10 years of experience at the competitive level, Shannah has worked extensively with high school, all-star, and collegiate programs. Before relocating to Arizona, she served as the coach and choreographer for the Ramona High School Song Team, which competes nationally with NDA in Pom, Team Performance, and Game Day. She continues to choreograph for her alma mater while expanding her work with numerous high school, all-star, and college teams nationwide.

Shannah has earned multiple NDA National Championship titles across high school and all-star divisions, as well as Top 3 collegiate placements. She has also choreographed for the National Team of Croatia in Pom and Pom Doubles, competing at the ICU World Championships. In addition, she has received multiple innovative choreography awards and Top 10 national placements for many of her teams.

Shannah has been a consistent choreographer for NDA Summer Camp curriculum for the past eight years, contributing jazz, pom, game day, and team dances. I look forward to connecting with you!

Abbey Werner

Abbey Werner

Bio: Abbey Werner is a dancer from the Metro Detroit area who began her dance training at the age of three and started competing at age seven. She trained and competed for 14 years at Big City Dance Center, where she studied all styles and earned numerous national titles with the competition team. Abbey attended Milford High School, where she helped establish the school’s first Varsity Dance Team and served as captain for two years.

Abbey graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Communication Studies from Chapman University. She is extensively trained in ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, heels, and more. During her collegiate career, she performed in multiple faculty-led and student-produced works and was the president of the heels performance team The Stilettos.

Abbey began choreographing during her senior year of high school and has placed in the top three at state and regional competitions for her choreography. She specializes in jazz, hip hop, and lyrical/contemporary. She currently works at The Music Room Dance Studio as a competition coach, where she enjoys mentoring dancers and developing award-winning routines. Abbey continues to pursue opportunities in the commercial dance industry while expanding her work as a choreographer and educator.

Alexis Stroud

Bio: Alexis Stroud is a dancer, choreographer, and instructor with 21 years of training in jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, ballet, pointe, pom, and tap. Growing up, Alexis received numerous competitive dance awards, including 2017 National Senior Miss Superstar, 3-time National Soloist at Star Systems, and 2-time 1st Overall Soloist. She began teaching and choreographing while still in high school, where she was a member of the Varsity Elite Dance Team. Alexis later attended California Baptist University (CBU), where she performed on the Division I Dance Team.

During her time at CBU, Alexis helped lead the program to four national championship titles, including wins at USA Nationals in Division I Pom, Division I Jazz, and Game Day, as well as a Division I Pom National Championship at NDA Nationals. In her senior year, Alexis also choreographed CBU’s national championship-winning jazz routine. In addition to her collegiate accomplishments, Alexis has worked with Varsity Spirit under the USA branch for five years, contributing to major events such as ICU/Worlds competitions, USA competitions, Varsity Combines, and other Varsity programs. Through this work, she has supported athletes and teams from across the country while helping create organized, positive, and high-energy competition environments.

Professionally, Alexis has worked as a background dancer, taught masterclasses, choreographed competition routines, and judged regional dance competitions. She is passionate about mentoring dancers, developing strong team culture, and helping athletes grow both technically and artistically. Alexis is excited to continue working with dancers and teams of all levels while growing as an artist and educator.

AnaLynn Hudson

Bio: AnaLynn grew up in training in various styles of dance in Washington and Idaho. She began competing at the age of 8 and continued to compete with her high school dance/drill team. AnaLynn went on to dance at the collegiate level as a member of the Utah Valley University dance team winning a UDA National Championship in D1 Jazz and taking home a Gold medal at the ICU World Championship as a member of The US National Premier Jazz Team.

Following her collegiate career, AnaLynn became a Miami Dolphins cheerleader learning from and performing alongside various choreographers and artists. AnaLynn started teaching and choreographing at the age of 17. She has continued to develop her knowledge and passion as a teacher and choreographer for the last 9 years as an Instructor at the National Dance Alliance. She’s been able to work closely with several different high school and college dance teams.

Bio: Hi, my name is Anna Staggs! I have been a part of the Ole Miss Rebelettes choreography team since my sophomore year and have had the opportunity to choreograph some curriculum for NDA to be taught at camps over the summer. I have worked with teams cleaning and elevating their routines in both Pom and Gameday, and have experience competing in the Pom, Gameday, and Jazz.

Bio: Born and raised in League City, Texas, Anabelle developed a love for dance early in life. She attended Clear Falls High School, where she served as both Junior Lieutenant and Colonel of the Emeralds dance team. During her freshman and sophomore years, she was also a member of the Dance Dynamics Worlds Team.

Anabelle went on to attend Texas Tech University, where she was a dedicated member of the Pom Squad for four years. During her freshman year, she had the honor of competing at the ICU World Championship with the U.S. National Jazz Team, earning a gold medal. In her sophomore year, she joined the National Dance Alliance (NDA) staff, where she began teaching and mentoring high school dancers across the country—a role she continues to this day. In her junior year, Anabelle had the honor of performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade alongside country singer Alex Smith. During her senior year, she served as a Weight Room Captain for the Pom Squad and completed a Human Resources internship.

Anabelle is currently starting her second year as the Assistant Director of the Friendswood High School Wranglerettes, where she has choreographed award-winning routines and continues to inspire and develop her dancers. In addition to her role at Friendswood, she teaches master classes and offers lessons at local studios, sharing her passion and expertise with the next generation of dancers.

Amanda Martz

Bio: Amanda Martz has nearly 20 years of dance training and performing experience. Currently she is a student at the University of California Irvine pursuing BFAs in Choreography and Performance, and a Minor in Education. Additionally, she is heading into her 5th year on dance staff with United Spirit Association and has been working with Aspire Dance Studio as competition coach since graduating in 2021. In the 2019-2020 season, she got to travel the country as a convention assistant with REVEL Dance Convention.

Amanda has danced in numerous stage productions such as Dance Escape and Dance Visions, for the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at UC Irvine, the Syncopated Ladies Live Concert, as well as the annual showcases at Aspire Dance Studio and Santa Susana High School where her choreography was frequently featured. She has performed in notable venues such as the Ford Amphitheater in LA, Irvine Barclay Theater, and Staples Center (now Crypto.com Arena). Additionally, she has also done work on camera for Hello Jack! The Kindness show on AppleTV+, concept videos for Santa Susana High School and Sole Talk Tap Company, and a short film.

Amanda trained as a member of Aspire Dance Studio and Santa Susana High School’s dance teams’ where she was captain for both teams her Junior and Senior years. She also frequently trained at prestigious studios such as Edge PAC and Millenium Dance Complex in LA. In addition, she was an original member of Chloe and Maud Arnold’s Sole Talk Tap Company and continued to train and perform with them for six seasons.

While training, she competed regionally and nationally for 10 years winning numerous awards, titles, and scholarships to colleges and conventions. She was honored to receive a choreography award from IDA Virtual Competition for her self choreographed Tap solo and another from Artist Simply Human Dance Showcase for her Contemporary solo.

Bio: Ashley Baxley is a Connecticut native and homemaker. She has vast experience coaching and choreographing for high school, college, and all-star dance teams with a strong focus on Hip Hop and Team Performance. She has been choreographing and judging with the National Dance Alliance from 2017 to now.

She also has experience with professional cheerleading and dance team organizations such as the NLL New England Black Wolves and was a four-year member of the WNBA's Connecticut Sun Solar Power Dance Team.

Ashley previously was the head coach of her alma mater, the University of Connecticut Dance Team, for five years. Her choreography has won Innovative Choreography at the NDA National Championship and back-to-back collegiate national titles at NDA College Nationals, both in the Team Performance category.

Bio: Hello! My name is Brittany Reynolds and I’d love to work with your team. I have loads of experience and so much love for choreographing. I have been choreographing since high school for my studios hip-hop pieces and my high school dance team, specializing in pom. Since then I have choreographed all styles for my collegiate dance team- The Ohio State University Club Dance Team. Post graduation I have continuing working with my old college team as well as some new colleges, doing their nationals/competitive routines.

Carol Lloyd

Bio: Carol has extensive background and experience as a middle/high school, all star, college and pro league coach for over 30 years. She is a graduate of University of Memphis where she was a 4-year member and captain of the Memphis Pom squad. She is in her 12th season as UM Spirit Coordinator.

She was the dance director of Memphis Elite All Stars for 16 years, winning over 60 titles. She also coached the University of Memphis cheer teams from 2004-2013. Currently, she is in her 21st year as the head coach for the 16-time national champions University of Memphis Pom & Ambush Crew. She is the head dance coach for all school dance teams in Collierville, TN. Since her start in the Collierville School district, she has 33 national titles. Carol served as the Head Coach for the UFL Memphis Showboats Cheerleaders and Hype Crew for the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

Cassie Lindsey

Bio: Cassie Lindsey grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. She trained at several studios in the valley including Master Ballet Academy and Tempe Dance Academy. In college she was a part of the Arizona State University Dance Team and competed at the Universal Dance Association Nationals in Orlando, Florida. Cassie was also a part of Team USA at the ICU World Championships and won gold in the jazz category. Some of her most notable performances were Super Bowl XLIX and the Dierks Bentley Country Tour. She is currently coaching the Phoenix Suns Dancers NBA coed team and has choreographed several performances for artists such as Sean Kingston, 310 BABII, and Travis Porter and recently directed and danced in the Footprint Center announcement video for Katy Perry's The Lifetimes Tour. Cassie is also an instructor, choreographer, and judge for UDA high school and collegiate camps and competitions all across the country. Recently she can be seen on ESPN and ESPN2 as a commentator for the televised UDA College Nationals shows. She has over 10 years of choreography experience in studio,
dance team, and NBA style routines.

Bio: Ceirra Bonds-Hutchinson serves as the Head Cheer & Dance Coach at the University of St. Thomas. A 6-time NDA National Champion and former collegiate captain, she has spent several years on NDA Staff, including roles as a Head Instructor and curriculum choreographer for NDA’s Summer Curriculum.

As a coach, her teams have earned multiple Summit Championship titles and consistent national placements at competitions all over the country. She is passionate about developing unique, creative routines tailored to each program’s strengths and vision.

Courtney Dang

Bio: Courtney Dang, originally from Oak Ridge, Tennessee, developed a passion for dance early on, classically training at the Oak Ridge Academy of Dance where she competed at studio competitions along with competing with the ORDTTA All Star team. She attended and danced for the University of Cincinnati for five years, where she studied Information Technology, served as captain for two seasons, and earned three D1A hip hop national championships and five world championships representing the U.S. National Team. After graduation, she coached local high school teams and became an assistant coach for the University of Cincinnati Dance Team. In 2024, she took on the role of head coach, continuing to inspire and connect with dancers across the country.

Courtney Dang has been consulting the University of Cincinnati's nationals routines since 2016 along with local studios and high school and college dance teams. She's also won an innovative choreography award and first place finish at the 2022 NDA High School Nationals in the Medium Varsity Game Day division.

For the past 8 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching dancers of all ages, and as a coach, I’ve guided my team to 4 national titles. Bio: Danielle Farrell is a dynamic and highly sought-after hip-hop choreographer with over a decade of experience coaching and choreographing for middle school, high school, and collegiate dance teams. Since 2013, she has served as the co-owner and artistic director of Raw Art Dance and Entertainment, a powerhouse for dance and entertainment in Bradley County/Cleveland, TN.

Her professional dance résumé boasts collaborations with Chevrolet, Indie Tribe, Krystal Restaurant, and Disney World. She has honed her craft with top industry professionals, training in Los Angeles, Nashville, New York, and Atlanta. Known for her innovative movement, electrifying energy, and commitment to artistic excellence, Danielle continues to inspire dancers and elevate the art of hip-hop dance,

Dontrell Thomas

Bio: Dontrell Thomas has been dancing since the age of 10 and trained at Dance Warehouse Inc. in Lafayette, Louisiana, where he now teaches multiple genres of dance and serves on the competition staff, choreographing and preparing dancers for conventions and competitions.He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he was a member of the Ragin’ Jazz Dance Team for three years and competed at UDA Nationals. He is currently in clinical school for nursing.

In addition, Dontrell is a member of the UDA staff, traveling to teach, mentor, and evaluate dance teams at camps and competitions. He is committed to developing not only strong, versatile dancers, but confident and disciplined individuals both in and out of the studio.

Bio: Emma's dance journey began in Upland, California, where she first discovered her love for movement and the stage. Growing up, she trained and competed in a variety of styles—including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Lyrical/Contemporary—laying a versatile foundation that would carry her into the next chapter of her career.

Emma continued her training at San Diego State University, where she proudly represented the SDSU Dance Team for four years, serving as Captain for two. During her time with the team, she competed at UDA College Nationals and helped lead her team to their first-ever National Championship title in 2020.

Her collegiate success opened the door to a professional career, where Emma danced in the NBA for two seasons. Along the way, she trained with some of the industry’s leading choreographers, performed with several artists, and built a resume that reflects both artistry and athleticism.

Now, Emma is passionate about inspiring the next generation of dancers who dream of following a similar path. She is driven by her love of movement, stage presence, and performance quality, and she is excited to continue creating magic through her choreography and competitive pieces.

Bio: Gerardo “G” Sandoval, originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, brings over eight years of experience with the Universal Dance Association (UDA), having served initially as an instructional staffer then as a core staff member leading staff training for three years and now doing choreography for their nationwide summer camps. During his time with UDA, G has traveled internationally to countries such as Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, and London and Rome to teach, and/or judge regional, national, or international competitions.

In addition, G has made his mark in the commercial dance industry, including performances in Disney's ``Star Girl.`` Currently based in Las Vegas, G has performed in professional dance gigs within the local scene. He remains dedicated to his craft by actively training with professional dancers and choreographers, continually seeking to enhance his skills.

George Jones Jr.

Bio: George Jones Jr. is an accomplished choreographer, educator, and performer with extensive experience across commercial dance, live performance, and elite team choreography. His career launched working with Britney Spears and has since included collaborations with Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, and Usher, along with appearances on major television shows, award stages, and international tours.

A graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, George combines strong technical training with a foundation in production and visual design, bringing a well-rounded creative approach to his work. His style ranges from flashy Jazz and Jazz Funk technique to hard-hitting and visually impactful Hip Hop choreography.

He has choreographed for professional teams including the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dancers and Sacramento Kings Dancers, and has spent over a decade working with Varsity Spirit, developing and training dancers at a national level. Currently represented by MSA Agency, George continues to teach and choreograph internationally while focusing on creating high-impact work for dance teams of all levels.

Haley Kramer

Bio: Haley Kramer lives in Nashville, TN and coaches the Vanderbilt University dance team. She is an 8th year UDA staffer, with five years of being a head instructor, two years being on UDA Core Staff where she helped with summer curriculum, and has been recognized as Veteran Staff of the Year!

Before coaching at Vanderbilt, Haley attended Tennessee Tech University where she competed at UDA College Nationals and placed 8th in Division I Pom and 5th in Division I Game Day, helping lead the first finalist team at TTU. After graduating college, she started a dance team at her middle school and taught hip hop classes at the Centre School of Dance in Cookeville, TN.

Her experience has given her a variety of opportunities to choreograph for middle school, high school, and college dance teams as well as studio and all-star programs. Her favorite styles to choreograph are hip hop, pom, and game day routines. This past year, her routines placed in the top 3 at regional and state competitions. She is passionate about teaching dance and helping teams reach their goals!

Haley Scalabrin

Bio: Haley grew up in Overland Park, Kansas, and started dancing at four years old. She was a four-year varsity member of her high school dance team, winning 12 national titles. She went on to dance for four years at Texas Tech on the Pom Squad, winning NDA College Nationals in D1A Jazz and Pom in 2021. One of her favorite memories is representing Team USA Jazz in 2022 and bringing home a gold medal.

For the past six years, Haley has been part of the NDA staff. She also choreographs and judges for Varsity competitions. Now living in Colorado, she works with special needs high school students, assistant coaches a high school dance team, and teaches at a dance studio. She loves sharing her passion and helping young dancers grow.

Jade Whaley

Bio: Jade’s dance journey began with 12 years at Aspirations Dance Company and continued at the University of St. Thomas, where she earned USTDT Rookie of the Year. Now a fourth-year member and Dance Lead Captain of the NBA Chicago Luvabulls, Jade has performed with Disney, Justin Timberlake’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, BRELAND, Sugar Hill Gang, and Kygo at Lollapalooza.

Her choreography has received national recognition, with top-three state placements, while working with organizations like Just For Kix, University of Iowa, University of Tennessee, and UDA. Jade also judges high school nationals for UDA and has earned accolades such as the Dance Spirit Future Star and Capezio Special Dancer Award. She continues to inspire dancers through performance, choreography, and instruction, sharing her passion for the art of dance.

Whether performing on stage, choreographing in the studio, or judging at national competitions, Jade remains committed to inspiring and nurturing talent in the dance world. Her journey is a testament to creativity, perseverance, and an unwavering love for the art of dance.

Jebdyel Texidor

Bio: Jeb Texidor is a dancer and choreographer from Sanford, Florida. He trained at Seminole High School, where he earned national championships in both pom and high kick. Jeb currently attends the University of North Florida and has completed a season performing with the Swoopin’ Ospreys Dance Team.

He also serves as the coach of the Beachside Dance Team and is entering his second summer with UDA, traveling across the country to instruct and inspire dancers of all levels.

Jenna Homme

Jenna Homme

Bio: Jenna Winkler Homme has danced competitively from the time she was six years old, as well as on her high school and college dance teams and on an Open Jazz All Star Team after college. Jenna is a 3-time All American and 2-time All Conference collegiate dancer, and also a Jazz World Champion, winning a Gold Globe at The Dance Worlds with her open team. She also performed with the Nebraska Ballet in numerous productions and as part of their Repertory Ensemble.

Jenna has won numerous regional and national titles both as a soloist and as part of a team. She is an award-winning choreographer and has choreographed for high school and college dance teams, competitive soloists and teams, pageant soloists, musical productions, flag corps, and show choir groups.

Jenna currently is in her sixth year as the Head Coach for a High School Dance Team and in her fifth year coaching a Senior All Star Worlds Team that has won 2 Bronze Globes and 1 Silver Globe in the last three Dance Worlds.

Bio: Jessica Curtis is an experienced dance coach, choreographer, and educator with over 20 years in the collegiate dance team industry and competitive studio world. She has worked as a coach, choreographer, consultant, and adjudicator, with proven success creating award-winning routines for collegiate programs, high school teams, and studios.

Jessica began dancing at age four and is trained in jazz, ballet, pom, lyrical, hip hop, and tap. She was a four-year member of the Western Kentucky University Dance Team. She went on to coach at Virginia Tech for seven seasons, coached at Vanderbilt University for two seasons, and has been a consultant for Vanderbilt for the past three years.

In addition to her collegiate work, Jessica has taught and choreographed for competitive dance studios, mentoring dancers as they set goals, build confidence, and grow through personalized choreography and intentional training. She is committed to developing well-rounded dancers—equipping them with the technical skills, confidence, and mindset needed to reach their full potential while never losing their love and joy for dance.

Bio: Jenna Stamps is a professional dancer and choreographer in New York City. She graduated from Manhattanville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. She is the Head Coach of Fordham University Dance Team. She dances with Brickhouse NYC in XPro, a professional hip hop crew. She is the Competition Director at The Studio School of Dance in Mount Kisco, NY.

Bio: Jessica is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of West Virginia University, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She is a recent graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, where she obtained a Masters of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis. Jessica was a four-year member, game-day routine choreographer, and senior captain of the West Virginia University Dance Team. Jessica was also the assistant coach of the West Virginia University Dance Team for two years.

She has been an NDA staff member for nine years. Through her time with NDA, Jessica has worked camps for both high school and collegiate dancers, as well as being a part of Core Staff during the event season. She currently works as a coach and choreographer for the Our Lady of Good Counsel Pom and Dance Team in Olney, MD.

Bio: Jocelyn studied under Denise Sabala and her staff at Denise Sabala Dance Studios in Lake Zurich, IL for 12 years. While there, she trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, pointe, musical theater, and tap and competed with the Denise Sabala Dance Company for 9 years. Jocelyn was also a 4-year member of Stevenson High School Patriettes dance team in Lincolnshire, IL. With Stevenson, she won 2 state championships and 2 national championships while serving as one of the student choreographers her senior year.

Jocelyn then was recruited and signed by the Alma College Competitive Dance Team in Alma, Michigan. During her 4 years, she earned 7 national championship titles along with an NDA Hip Hop Grand Championship title. Jocelyn graduated in 2025 with a BA in Dance and Media.

Jocelyn is now teaching and choreographing throughout Illinois and is a coach with Stevenson Patriettes JV Dance Team.

Bio: Joseph Bridgforth is a proud recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where he made history as the first and only male member of the university’s renowned dance team. Competing in Hip Hop, Pom, and Game Day categories, Joseph showcased his versatility and dedication to the art of dance.

As a UDA instructor, Joseph has worked with thousands of high school and collegiate athletes, sharing his passion and expertise. During his first year with the company, he was recognized as Rookie of the Year and performed in the NDTC 40th Anniversary Opening Number—a testament to his talent and leadership.

Joseph has continued to make an impact in the dance world by judging competitions locally and internationally, including in Puerto Rico. He is also an accomplished choreographer, creating routines for both dance teams and studios. Most notably, he had the honor of traveling to Austria to choreograph, expanding his influence on a global stage.

Joshua Bluhm

Bio: Joshua Bluhm is a Hip Hop Dancer/Instructor who started his professional career in 2017. Joshua has trained under many mentors such as Kevin and Dea Nguyen, Ian Eastwood, Amy Allen, and Anthony Kin. He's worked on jobs such as the Las Vegas Residency ``America's Got Talent Presents Superstars Live`` and currently dances at ``On the Record Speakeasy Club``. Other television credits include ``Floored`` on Roku, ``Super Bowl Opening Night``, `` NBA Emirates World Cup`` commercial, and ``America's Got Talent`` on NBC. Joshua has taught at studios and programs such as ``Millennium Dance Complex``, ``TAPS``, ``Dance Teachers Web``, and ``UDA``. He's also been an Assistant Choreographer for the ``NBA``, ``NFL``, and ``Disney``. Joshua encourages hard work ethic in any room that he's in. Whether it being in a rehearsal space, or a classroom.

Bio: Joy Xu, originally from San Diego, California, has over 15 years of experience in dance performance and choreography. With a strong technical foundation in ballet, contemporary, and jazz growing up, combined with years of intensive hip-hop and commercial jazz training in university, Joy has a unique perspective and approach to movement styles and choreography.

Joy graduates in 2026 from the University of California, Irvine, earning her degree in Dance and Business Economics. She currently dances with and directs the award-winning professional hip-hop team, The G.O.O.D. Project, trains with Vixens Heels Dance Company, and has hip-hop choreographic credits at Cal Lutheran University, Project BB, Arts Orange County, TIDE, Project Renegade, and more.

Joy has enjoyed multiple seasons on USA Dance Staff and is the current Director for Bare Bones Dance Theatre, choreographing jazz and hip hop for large groups of dancers encompassing both high school and college dancers. In high school, she competed with the national award-winning Westview Dance Troupe and has a strong understanding of competitive styles.

As Joy continues to teach and choreograph around local studios and high schools in Orange County and San Diego, she is grateful and excited to continue dancing, learning, and growing!

Kaitlyn Seiler

Bio: Originally from Edmond, Oklahoma, Kaitlyn Seiler currently dances and performs professionally in Orlando, Florida. You can find Kaitlyn dancing in the Magic Kingdom at The Walt Disney World Resort, or at Sesame Street Land in SeaWorld Orlando. She has also danced in multiple seasonal events at the Universal Orlando Resort. Kaitlyn graduated in 2021 from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Journalism. She was on the Oklahoma State University Pom Squad for all four years of college. During her time on the OSU Pom Squad, she helped to clean game day routines and develop sideline choreography. Kaitlyn was a UDA instructor for five years, and taught dance camps to all ages across the country. Whether it comes to choreographing or cleaning routines, Kaitlyn is looking forward to the opportunity to help your team be successful in whatever your season entails!

Bio: A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Kathryn was a member and captain of the University’s dance team and earned a degree in Health and Human Performance. She worked as a UDA staff member for more than 12 years, instructing dancers and leading camps across the U.S.

Kathryn is currently an assistant coach for the dance team at Bearden High School, her alma mater, and has helped lead the team to multiple state championships, national finalist placements, and 8 UDA National Championship titles in Gameday and Pom. In 2022, she also became the head coach at West Valley Middle School, who earned three medals at UDA Nationals 2026, including National Championships in Pom and Gameday.

Kathryn specializes in Pom, Gameday, and Jazz choreography and works with all levels of school and all-star teams. She also choreographs for UDA summer camp material. Her work has earned multiple choreography awards and has helped teams achieve top three finishes at the regional, state, and national level, as well as multiple UDA and NDA National Championships. In addition to coaching and choreography, Kathryn also serves as a panel judge and a USASF Legality Official for multiple Varsity Brands events.

Bio: Kelsey was a competitive dancer for 10 years, with experience at the studio, high school, and collegiate level. She spent 4 years on the TCU Elite Dance team, where she competed at USA Nationals every year in Anaheim, CA. She has been on NDA staff for 4 years, teaching camps and working events across the country at both the high school and collegiate level.

Kelsey has experience choreographing jazz, lyrical, and contemporary routines for studio, high school, and college, and has also choreographed several kick routines for the NDA camp curriculum.

Bio: Kendall Madkins is a dynamic and accomplished performing artist with a strong foundation in both dance and acting. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Kendall graduated from Johnson High School, where she was a four-year member of their dance team and contributed to winning an NDA Hip-Hop National Championship in 2021.

Currently, Kendall is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Acting/Directing with a minor in Business Marketing at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. She is a dedicated member of the Pioneer Pride Dance Team, serving as the team’s game-day leader for 2025–2026, and played an instrumental role in leading the team to its first NDA Division II Spirit Rally National Championship this year.

With three seasons of collegiate dance experience, Kendall combines performance excellence with leadership and team spirit. Beyond her university commitments, she is in her first year as a staff member with the National Dance Alliance, where she contributes her expertise and passion to the next generation of dancers. Kendall is also actively pursuing opportunities in television and film, consistently auditioning and expanding her experience across the entertainment industry. Bio: Layne Strode Dobbins is a dancer, educator, and choreographer from Louisiana with training in all styles of dance. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS, where she was an adjunct faculty member, head dance team coach, and dance team choreographer for five years.

Her work as a studio choreographer and teacher for Rhonda Whitehead’s Studio for Dance and Gym reflects a passion for dance and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists. Layne continues to shape the studio’s artistic identity through dynamic, musical choreography and a teaching style rooted in strong technique and individuality.

With over a decade of dedicated work with Varsity Spirit and the Universal Dance Association, Layne remains an essential asset within the company. She travels the nation leading dance camps, setting choreography under V!ROC, judging regional, state, and national competitions, and working national/international events. Layne received the 2024 UDA Veteran of the Year award for her commitment to pushing their vision forward.

Bio: Lindsay Headrick is from St. Louis, MO where she focused on ballet, by studying with the Missouri State Ballet and the Canadian Ballet of Montreal. Lindsay earned her BA, in Dance, at Lindenwood University, where she was a four-year member of the National Champion Lion Line Dance Team, which has been inducted into Lindenwood’s Athletic Hall of Fame. During her time on the team, she began working for the Universal Dance Association. With UDA, Lindsay has become a seventeen-year veteran staff member and has been named Veteran Instructor of the Year. Lindsay has been a part of judging panels on the regional, national, and international levels for the past five years. Lindsay works with many teams throughout the Midwest. Her choreography and consulting for Pittsburgh State University, Washington University, St. Louis College of Pharmacy, Missouri State Sugar Bears, Eureka High School, Marana High School, and Marquette High School have helped these teams earn top National rankings.

Bio: Lizzy Howard is a nationally recognized and award-winning choreographer originally from Boise, Idaho. Over the last 10 years, Lizzy has coached, choreographed, and adjudicated in many different facets within the dance industry. While still in Idaho, she founded Eminence, a competitive hip hop program at her local studio.

Currently, Lizzy is the Program Director for the National Dance Alliance. Along with NDA, Lizzy continues to choreograph many all-star, high school, and college programs representing at state, national, and collegiate championships.

In 2023, Lizzy accepted the position of Assistant Dance Director for USA Cheer to coach the U.S. National Dance Teams. This has given her the opportunity to consult and coach various elite-level teams and bring home over 15 gold medals at the ICU World Championships. She is beyond grateful to continue her dance journey coaching, choreographing, adjudicating, and speaking at coaches conferences across the nation!

After competing on her High School’s Varsity Pom Team for four years, she attended UCLA where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in dance and was also a member of the UCLA Dance Team. Maddie has been dancing and cheering professionally for the past five years in Las Vegas, NV and currently serves as a captain of her team. Maddie has worked for the United Spirit Association for the past 9 years and continues to teach summer camps and clinics across the United States. Maddie has choreographed multiple national title routines including 2-USA Varsity Large Pom 1st place routines, 3- USA Collegiate Championship Game Day 1st place routines, and received 2nd place at NDA College Nationals in D1 Pom in Daytona, FL. Bio: Marisa Martin became the second head coach for Texas Woman's University on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Martin graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Dance. While attending Texas Tech, Martin competed on the Texas Tech Pom Squad and helped lead the team to four NDA National Championships.

Martin has also worked on the National Dance Alliance Staff since 2017. With NDA, Martin taught and choreographed for high school and college teams at NDA dance camps. She instructed nationally ranked collegiate dance teams and mentored dancers.

More specifically, Martin boasts expertise in choreographing and instructing pom, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary. Since 2019, Martin has served as a Varsity EnVision Choreographer, traveling around the country to create award-winning routines for high school and collegiate dance programs. As of 2025, Marisa’s choreography has ranked Top 10 NDA High School for Game Day and Pom, and she is an NDA College Championship Coach and Choreographer for Spirit Rally.

Bio: Megan Broomfield will be graduating from Duke University School of Medicine with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May of 2026 and is a working veteran Universal Dance Association head instructor and competition judge.

Currently located in the Kansas City area, she is a former Iowa State University Dance Team member, earning 2 NDA national titles and serving as the workout captain during her time on the team. She is also a former World Champion ICU Premier Pom team member and a 4x Missouri State Dance Champion.

She loves to make personalized routines that highlight each team’s strengths, highlight the music's details, and hit the competition scoresheet in depth. She knows what judges are looking for as a certified and working NDA and UDA judge. Known for being well-organized, she will leave you with a routine you feel confident about, virtually or in person. Bio: Megan Schmidt is a professional dancer, choreographer, and coach whose career spans competitive, collegiate, and professional arenas. She competed four years with the Ohio State Dance Team, winning four national championships, served one season on staff with Universal Dance Association, danced two seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and later led the organization as Head Coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers Dance Team.

During her collegiate career, Megan assisted in choreographing numerous gameday performances and led technique and choreography clinics in jazz and pom. At the professional level, she choreographed a wide range of NBA timeout routines across multiple styles and collaborated on halftime productions alongside Cavaliers entertainment teams and guest artists, delivering dynamic performances on a national stage.

With extensive teaching experience beginning in high school and continuing through collegiate dance camps and studio training, Megan is known for her ability to merge technical excellence with commanding performance quality. Her choreography is rooted in strong musicality, athletic precision, and refined confidence—creating impactful work that challenges dancers to perform with intention, strength, and presence.

Bio: Morgan Blanton is a dance educator and choreographer based out of Lawrence, KS. She studied to earn her B.F.A. at the University of Kansas, with a focus on dance choreography, pedagogy, and performance.

Morgan has been a dance educator for 8 years, working with all ages across various studios in the Midwest. She spends time choreographing for studio competitions, dance team competitions, and concert dance performances. Her choreography has been recognized and awarded by numerous judges. Many of her students consistently place top 5 with her choreography.

This is Morgan’s 4th year with V!ROC Dance, and she looks forward to creating with your teams!

Nia Pierce

Bio: Nia, a Lafayette, Louisiana native, discovered her passion for dance at just one year old. With two decades of performance experience and five years of teaching, her journey began at June’s Dancers in Lafayette and continued through her high school dance team days, where she competed locally, regionally, and nationally. She reached new heights at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette as a member and captain of the Ragin’ Jazz dance team, leading them to an impressive 5th-place finish in the highly competitive 2024 UDA Nationals Spirit Program Game Day Division. Nia was handpicked as a Universal Dance Association (UDA) Instructor, traveling across the U.S. to teach choreography and technique to high school and college programs.

She previously served as the head coach of the Ovey Comeaux High School dance team, where her leadership helped the team achieve multiple top-ten national finishes, culminating in an outstanding 3rd-place finish at DTU Nationals. Currently, Nia is the head coach of the nationally ranked Ascension Episcopal School dance team, “Gator Jazz,” a 3x DTU National Champion and 1x UDA Louisiana State Champion. She is eager to continue building upon the program’s legacy of excellence.

Bio: Noah is from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated in 2020 from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance. During his time at MSUM, he was a three year member of the MSUM Dragon Dance Team. Noah is in his fifth summer as a member of UDA Staff. He has also coached for five years at the collegiate level at Peru State College in Nebraska and Minnesota State University Moorhead in Minnesota.

Noah loves to teach and is passionate about bringing dance to teams of all sizes.

Paige Taylor

Bio: Paige is in her senior year on the University of Cincinnati Dance Team. She grew up training at a studio in her hometown of Muncie, Indiana where she finished her high school career at Dance Magic Performing Arts Center. Dance Magic is where she began her choreography journey during junior year of high school. Since then, Paige has choreographed multiple group dances for studios, dance teams, duets/trios, and even solos winning many awards. Her most recent accomplishment being 1st place collegiate home routine at UDA Chula Vista College Camp. Alongside being a UDA Staffer, she also assists at Tremaine Dance Conventions on the Performance Company. With both UDA Staff and Tremaine she has gotten the opportunity to learn from many amazing dancers and choreographers.

Payton Atkins

Bio: Payton Atkins is a highly accomplished dancer and educator from Ponte Vedra, Florida. She began her training in jazz, contemporary, ballet, acro, and hip-hop at the age of two. In her high school years, she was apart of the Ponte Vedra High School Dance Team, where she served as a four year member and captain. From an early age, Atkins has boldly expressed her passion and admiration for her craft, always advocating for the art & athleticism of dancers.

She is a recent graduate from Florida State University where she was a standout member of the nationally ranked FSU Golden Girls Dance Team. In her senior season, Atkins served as a captain & was on the board of The Student Athletic Advisory Counsel. Payton helped lead her team to a 3rd place finish at UDA College Nationals in the rigorous D1A Jazz category. Along with this accomplishment, Atkins and her team were selected to represent the country as Team USA in 2023, where she became a gold medalist at the ICU World Championships! Currently she is a dance instructor, traveling choreographer, and graduate student at The University of West Florida receiving her Masters in Business Administration.

Payton accretes many of her amazing dance opportunities, connections, and achievements to her role as a UDA Staff instructor Atkins will be going into her fourth year with the company along with serving as a Core Staff member this past summer. She has been so fortunate to mentor, educate, and foster relationships with athletes across the country while getting to continue her passion of dancing at the next level.

Rachel Wobbe

Bio: Rachel Wobbe was a four-year member and two-year captain of the Miami University Dance Team in Oxford, Ohio, where she also studied a minor in Dance. Now she works in the Cleveland, Ohio area as a high school math teacher and fulfills many dance roles both locally and around the country.

She has been with Varsity Brands for five years working as an instructor, choreographer, and event staffer. She strives to bring all her diverse experiences together in order to quickly bond with teams and coaches in a way that allows her to collaborate and create a routine that is authentically yours. Rachel is score-sheet oriented and prioritizes a balance between artistry and athleticism in every piece she creates.

Bio: Reese is originally from Paducah, Ky and currently resides in New York City, NY where she is currently obtaining her BFA in dance with a concentration in choreography and jazz and with a minor in business at Marymount Manhattan College. She has been on NDA staff for 4 years and has choreographed for NDA Summer Camp Curriculum for the past 3 summers in styles such as pom, jazz, lyrical, gameday, and team. Dancing on the Mccracken County Dance Team, Reese found her calling for choreography. Her choreography has won NDA camp awards for “Innovative Choreography” and also placed top 3 at NDA High School Nationals. She is dedicated to giving teams choreography that best fits their unique personality!

Bio: A native of Houston, Texas, Roland Latson has performance and coaching experience in cheerleading and dance team. He was a member of the Houston Community College repertoire company and served as an officer on Blinn College Dance Team.

Roland holds a master’s degree in Dance Education from the University of Northern Colorado. A few of Roland’s performance credits include dancer in a stage play starring Michelle Williams, Super Bowl, and Showtime at The Apollo-On Tour.

Roland is a public-school dance educator. He is a former UDA staffer with Universal Dance Association and choreographs at the secondary and collegiate level. Roland serves on the IE committee for NDCA and is a member of several local and national dance organizations.

Bio: Sammy Shay is a Colorado Native and grew up dancing at Golden High School where they were State Champions. After high school, she became a UNC Sugar Bear where she spent 4 years dancing on their team and choreographing many game day routines. She also started her journey with NDA where Sammy has worked for 8 summers and is a Head Instructor. She has also been a part of NDA curriculum, and competition choreography by choreographing many competition pieces. She has choreographed in the military, Pom, hip hop, and jazz categories for competition routines. She has spent 6 years as a high school dance team coach so she knows what many coaches are looking for to offer variety.

Sammy has spent many years working with many different styles, teams, and levels. As an NDA judge, she is able to offer lots of feedback and areas for growth through teams. After choreographing for NDA, professional teams, and many different high school and college teams, she has a diverse background to offer your choreography.

Savannah Hooks

Bio: Savannah Hooks has been dancing since the age of 3 and is classically trained in the Cecchetti Ballet System. She has a passion for all styles of dance with extensive training in many, including: contemporary, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, modern, and Irish dance. She has danced for a number of dance companies and crews including Unity Dance Ensemble, founded by Tessandra Chavez under the direction of Tarua Hall and Theo Ivey; and High Profile Dance Crew, which resides in Las Vegas. She graduated from CSUN magna Cum Laude obtaining a Mathematics degree where she received the F. Lynwood Wren Award.

As an educator, Savannah has taught classes all over the country working as a Master Teacher, Choreographer, and Coach. She has been a member of the dance staff for the United Spirit Association for 13 years, where she was awarded M.V.P for 2016, 2017, 2018, and received the Unity award for 2019 and 2021. Savannah loves to create and has always had an absolute passion for choreography. She has been setting pieces on dancers from a very young age, and has choreographed countless award winning, and national title winning routines. She has also received many choreography awards through many different competition and performance dance circuits. Taking it back to high school, she was captain of her team for two years and 1st runner up solo champion for the USA Nationals 2010.

Conclusively Savannah absolutely loves teaching and inspiring others through dance and plans on doing just that for the rest of her life.

Bio: Savannah is a California native with a strong background in competitive and gameday choreography across the studio, high school, and collegiate levels. She began her journey as a four-year member and captain of her high school dance team, later returning as an assistant coach for three years. During her coaching tenure, she choreographed multiple nationally ranked Pom and Jazz routines, earning top placements including 3rd and 4th at USA Spirit Nationals.

Savannah recently graduated from UC Davis, where she was a proud member of the UC Davis Dance Team. While on the team, she contributed choreography for various gameday performances, further refining her creative voice. In addition to her choreographic work, Savannah has been part of the National Dance Alliance for the past seven summers, heading and staffing camps across the country—and even choreographed summer curriculum for NDA. Her passion for dance and commitment to excellence continue to inspire the next generation of performers!

Sydney Schriver

Bio: Sydney is a dedicated dance coach, choreographer, and instructor based in Knoxville, Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, where she danced for four years, and is now a part of their coaching staff. She is also the assistant coach for bearden high school dance team. In addition to coaching, she choreographs and consults for multiple college and high school dance teams. You may have seen her work with the Endicott College, St John’s University, and Rutgers University. With seven years of experience working for UDA, she continues to share her expertise with dancers across the country. Locally, she teaches at a dance studio, where she inspires and trains the next generation of performers with her knowledge and dynamic choreography. She is excited to share her passion for dance and commitment to excellence with you all soon!

Sean Agustin

Bio: Sean Agustin is a hip-hop and jazz choreographer based in Tampa, Florida. Starting at just 5 years old, Sean danced at a local dance studio in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, where he received his professional training. Traveling with his studio’s competition team, Sean has received many awards at both regional and national competitions around the eastern region. At just 16 years old, Sean began to assist dance classes, in which he soon became a dance teacher for his studio at 18 years old. On top of this, he was advanced into a choreographer position for his studio’s competition team.

Moving to Florida for college, Sean chose to attend the University of South Florida located in Tampa Bay. With a major in Medical Biology and a minor in Entrepreneurship, Sean continues his love for dance and teaching. Here, Sean is recognized as the first ever male to make the University’s D1A dance team, the SunDolls, in all of its history. He has been featured on many news platforms, such as ABC News, NBC News, and many more because of this accomplishment. The USF SunDolls compete at the annual NDA collegiate dance competition in Daytona Beach.

Sean soon began to grow his dance and choreography skills amongst many dance studios around the Greater Tampa Bay area. Traveling around, Sean now teaches at multiple dance studios, as well as offers high energy master classes and intensives, while remaining committed as the only male to the USF SunDolls dance team. On top of this, Sean comes and goes as a guest choreographer for studios and soloist dancers who are in need of choreography. Although his choreography strengths include jazz and hip-hop, Sean has been introducing both pom and
contemporary/lyrical into his dance portfolio.

Now, Sean is now a current NDA staffer member, where he has joined the Varsity Envision Choreography team to offer team’s around the world superior routines.

Taylor Shupe

Taylor Shupe

Location: Memphis, Tennessee

Bio: Taylor Shupe is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She went on to dance for the University of Kentucky, where she represented the US at the ICU World Championships in both Hip Hop and Pom. Shupe finished her collegiate dance career at the University of St. Thomas, where she earned 6 National Championships as an athlete and 1 as an assistant coach! She was an assistant coach for the University of St. Thomas for two seasons, along with coaching at Edina High School for four. She has taught for UDA for 8 years, working on camp routine choreography, camp curriculum development and leading Staff Trainings. Recent choreography highlights include Minnesota State University - Mankato Jazz 2024 and 2025 UDA College National Champions, ORDTTA Senior Jazz 2024 UDA All Star National Champions, Edina High School Kick 2023 6th in Minnesota High School State Championship.

She is currently located in Memphis, Tennessee, where she works for Varsity Spirit full-time in their Marketing Department!

Bio: Ted Williams Jr. is an Arizona native and Grand Canyon University graduate. He received his BFA in Dance Education and is the current director of dance at Canyon View High School. In his high school years he became a UDA All-American and a State Champion during his time on the Raymond S. Kellis High School pom team. Ted has coached and choreographed for various dance teams and studios since 2013, helping several teams achieve state and national titles over the years! He excels in Pom choreography with the ability to cater to all levels from novice to advanced. Ted continues to develop his unique style as a choreographer, and he is excited to continue working with pom/dance teams and studios to maximize their potential and ability through exciting and unique choreography!

Victoria Mithen

Bio: Victoria Mithen is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer originally from Michigan who currently resides in New York City. She completed the CLI Conservatory program in 2023 after graduating summa cum laude with a B.A. in both dance and psychology. She continues to train professionally in Los Angeles and New York. Victoria began her teaching career at the age of 16 and discovered her passion for sharing her love of dance with others and supporting their growth. She has taught classes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, modern, Pom, hip hop, and improvisation to dancers of all ages and is frequently requested for master classes by studios throughout the country. Victoria has been with NDA for several years traveling across the country teaching and mentoring teams at the high school and collegiate level. She has provided summer camp curriculum and team choreography through Varsity Spirit. During her years with NDA, Victoria has built a strong understanding of the Team Performance and Pom divisions adding to her already strong Jazz and Contemporary background. Victoria is an
innovative choreographer who creates unique routines that highlight artistry, musicality, and technique.

Bio: Victoria recently relocated from St. Louis, MO to Cincinnati, OH. A graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, she earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration while dancing as a member of the collegiate dance team.

She is now living her lifelong dream as an NFL Cheerleader for the Cincinnati Bengals. During the summer, Victoria travels nationwide as a UDA Instructor, sharing her passion for dance and choreography with teams across the country. She is excited to continue creating, teaching, and inspiring dancers at every level.

Vivian Vo

Vivian Vo

Location: Ontario, CA

Styles: Pom, Jazz, Contemporary/Lyrical

Bio: Vivian is a native of Ontario, California. She has trained in various styles such as Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Pom, and Hip Hop while exploring her creative movement. Vivian was a part of the Alta Loma High School's nationally ranked varsity dance team and served as head captain her senior year. She is currently studying at California State University, Long Beach, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Political Science.

Vivian joined the United Spirit Association family and has instructed many campers in multiple styles. Additionally, she serves as a legality judge for USA song/pom and dance competitions. She teaches for local studios around her hometown and college town. Vivian is continuing her dance journey in the Long Beach/Orange County area and exercising her choreographic skills
