Spirit Celebration

Established in 1998, Spirit Celebration is a dedicated caring family that celebrates athletes, parents, fans & coaches while delivering events that provide a ‘Disney-like’ atmosphere. We strive and love to create a ‘pep rally’ environment for CheerAbilities teams and Philanthropic Projects. At each event, we award ‘Best Fans in the Stands’ to gym parents and friends who support their kids by being loud and proud which exemplifies the SC Spirit.

We pride ourselves on celebrating the athleticism of cheerleaders from all over the U.S., as well as making a commitment to keeping all their coaches, parents and fans apprised of new and exciting opportunities in the cheer and dance industry. Spirit Celebration became a member of Varsity Spirit Brands in 2017. This great merger has allowed us to expand industry opportunities by offering bids to The Summit, The Dance Summit, The D2 Summit and The Quest, in addition to the current Cheerleading Worlds and Dance Worlds bids all held at Walt Disney World.

Spirit Celebration also thrives on philanthropic ventures and partnerships with The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Scottish Rite, I Can Still Shine, Dallas Association of the Deaf and Autism Speaks.

Divisions Offered: All Star Cheer, Rec Cheer, All Star Dance

Awards:
• We award one D1 Champion and one D2 Champion in each division.
• Medals: Gold – Champions; Silver – 2nd Place; Bonze – 3rd Place; Exhibition/Show Teams, CheerAbilities
• Banners: Division Champions; Level Champions
• Individual WOW
• Best Fans in the Stands: rowdiest fans with noise makers and signs
• Gym Sportsmanship Award

Warm up/Rehearsal:
• To ensure the event is run in a timely manner, please be aware of your team’s designated warm-up time. We ask all athletes and coaches report to the warm-up area at least 1 hour prior to your competition time.
• Please follow directional signs to the warm-up.
• Please refrain from leaving bags and other personal belongings in the rehearsal area.
• Please bring two back-up copies of your music.
• Stunting is not allowed in unapproved areas outside of the warm-up room.

Order of Competition:
• The order of competition, including warm-up time, will be posted online Friday prior to the event

Competition Time: (Times are tentative & subject to change)
• 10:00am – 6:00pm

Merchandise:
• Merchandise will be available for purchase.
• Concessions will be sold at the event. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED!
• Athletes and coaches may bring a snack and water bottle

Cheer Community Rallies Together After the Storm

On August 27th, Hurricane Laura barreled across Louisiana and maintained ferocious strength while carving a destructive path hundreds of miles inland. Unfortunately, some of our own were in its path. Louisiana Powerhouse’s Gym in Iowa, LA was completely flattened, suffering a total loss!
