TOUR ITINERARY

This event is open to participants in the FOURTH GRADE AND OLDER!

Tuesday

November 22

:

• Make your way to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by car or plane! You should arrive in Philly

between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.*

• Tonight we will have a fun “Welcome to Philadelphia” dinner.

• After dinner, a parade rehearsal will be held for the All-Americans. During the rehearsal, the

chaperones and parents will have an Orientation meeting to give you all of the details on

your exciting week!

*Travel arrangements to and from Philadelphia are not included in the cost of the trip. Please call

A&I Travel at 866-719-0379 to arrange your flight to Philadelphia. Flight arrangements must be

made through A&I Travel to receive transportation to and from the airport from the hotel.

Wednesday

November 23

:

• Start off the day with a buffet breakfast at the hotel.

• Everyone will depart the hotel for the main Parade review site for a rehearsal. During this rehearsal at

the Philadelphia Art Museum, we will also get to see the famous “Rocky” statue and steps.

• After returning to the hotel, there will be some free time for lunch and shopping.

• This afternoon we will offer an optional walking tour of Historic Philadelphia! Guides in colonial dress

will take you to see such famous landmarks as Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell!

• The evening will conclude with everyone boarding a boat for a Dinner Cruise along the Delaware River.

Dinner and a night full of dancing top off the cruise!

Thursday

November 24

:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

• Your Thanksgiving will start off with a complete buffet breakfast after an early morning wake up call!

We will then depart the hotel for the 97th Annual “Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade.”

“The Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade” is a three hour long event, culminating in front

and on the steps of the beautiful Philadelphia Art Museum. A holiday spectacle in the grandest

tradition, the parade is met with anticipation from families everywhere! The Philadelphia

Thanksgiving Day Paradeis the country’s OLDEST Thanksgiving Day parade. Complete with

fabulous floats, larger than life balloons, marching bands and some of the nation’s best talent!”

• During the parade, the All-American’s will perform and cheer to the crowds along the

streets of Philadelphia! At the end of the parade route, they will perform for a live TV show and will

also participate in the finale of the parade with a cast of over 1000 performers.

• After the parade, everyone will return to the hotel for a traditional, Thanksgiving Lunch!

• The afternoon is at leisure for you to enjoy Philadelphia or just relax at the indoor pool at the hotel.

• This evening we will celebrate Thanksgiving with a DJ Dance party with pizza!

Friday

November 25

:

• This departure day will start with a hotel breakfast buffet to get you started for your travel home.

*Airline departures should only occur between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
