FOR EXHIBITORS

Event Overview:

The USA Collegiate Expo is the perfect chance to reach more than 10,000 High School Cheerleaders, Mascots and Songleaders who are competing and spectating at Nationals and are looking for colleges and universities with cheer and/or dance programs. There will be a USA Staff booth in the same area to provide information about USA Instructional staff opportunities for you or your athletes.

Why Colleges/Universities should attend and set up a booth at the Collegiate Expo:

  • Great exposure for your spirit team
  • Meet and talk to other school representatives and programs
  • Find out about USA Staff opportunities

General Event Information:

The 2020 USA Collegiate Expo will take place during our USA Spirit High School Nationals and before the USA Collegiate Championships at the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 10:00am-3:00pm. Set-up will begin at 9:30am until the start of the event at 10:00am and breakdown will happen from 3:00pm until 3:30pm.

Each exhibitor will receive a 6-foot long folding table to display their recruiting materials/tablecloths/handouts provided by the USA. Attendees are limited to table and no backdrops or additional banners are permitted due to space limitations.

We want to be respectful of everyone’s space and limit each table to a maximum of 3 representatives. Please no moving or shifting of the tables as the event layout has been pre-approved and laid out for optimal foot traffic and safety.

There will NOT be power outlets available, so any audio/video must be self powered and sound must be kept to a minimum to respect others in a shared space

Please plan on bringing any tryout clinic information, free giveaways, general college information such as registration dates for school, majors and minors offered, scholarship information, priority registration offered, information on the different teams you offer and even photos of your team at gameday or competition events. Any information you have about your program(s) so that the athletes and possibly their parents can make an informed decision about cheerleading/dancing in college.

May also be helpful to have a sign-in sheet to collect e-mail addresses to receive more information about tryouts or the school.

PROFESSIONALISM IS REQUIRED

Prior to collecting personal information from minors, it is important to provide a professional email. Making contact with possibly unsupervised minors will only be allowed through the use of an official school email. Please provide the contact email address to be used. As an adult, you are not authorized to give personal information (phone number or email) to attendees at the event. Contact emails collected from the event may only be used to share information about your college and/or college spirit team. We will provide disposable name tags, but we encourage you to bring your own name tag and business cards if possible.

Dress professionally, possibly wear a team or school logo polo, or team uniform.

You have the option to do an Absentee Information Packet (AIP) if you are unable to attend in the expo in person.
