About USA Junior Nationals

Since 1990, this unique event has celebrated the spirit of youth and junior teams in both cheer and song/pom.  The event takes place in Anaheim, CA, drawing nearly 2,000 competitors and 3,000 spectators, as teams compete in one over 30 different divisions.  With an emphasis on school-based and youth/recreation league teams from elementary to high school-age, USA Jr. Nationals is a fantastic way to recognize younger teams for what they bring to the competition floor.

Join us in 2019 for USA JR. Nationals on February 24, 2019 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA!

2019 Nationals Information

Step 1: COMPLETE ONLINE REGISTRATION

What you will need to register on-line:

  • Your Varsity account login username and password. If you cannot find your or need a login, please contact the USA office at 800-886-4872 or usacompetitions@varsity.com.
  • Information for all athletes (first name, last name, gender, and birthdate) for team roster
  • Rooming List (if applicable)
  • Divisions in which your team will compete
  • If ordering Disneyland® Resort tickets as a team, be sure to do so during this online Step 6 – Add Ins. Parents and spectators have a separate link for their Disneyland® Resort ticket purchases.

Please note that your registration will remain on hold until your deposit or payment in full is received. Please see step 2.

Registrations with hotel rooms must be submitted on-line and deposit received by November 30, 2018. Hotel rooms may sell out prior to the hotel deadline.

Regular registrations must be submitted on-line and payment in full received by January 11, 2019.

Registration for the event may close prior to the registration deadline due to event capacity.

Late fees of $20 per participant will be assessed on registration without payment by the deadline or submitted after the deadline.

Approval in advance from the USA office is required for registrations being submitted after January 11, 2019.

Step 2: PAY DEPOSIT OR MAKE PAYMENT IN FULL

Pay either $75 per person deposit or payment in full. Registrations are not confirmed until at least the deposit is received. The date payment is received will be the date used for performance order determination.

  • If paying with credit card, please visit the “My Nationals Registration” web page to pay your deposit or payment in full.
  • Mail school check, money order, or cashier’s check made payable to United Spirit Association to:  United Spirit Association, 5770 Warland Drive, Suite B, Cypress, CA 90630

Please be sure to include a copy of your invoice to ensure proper credit to your account.

Schools Purchasing a Hotel Package – $75 per person deposit received by November 30, 2018. Final balance is due on or before January 11, 2019. Hotel rooms may sell out prior to the hotel deadline.

Schools Commuting – Payment in full is due on or before January 11, 2019.

Registration for the event may close prior to the registration deadline due to event capacity.

 A late fees of $20 per participant will be assessed on registration without payment by the deadline or submitted after the deadline.Registrations that are not paid in full or guaranteed by school purchase order by January 11, 2019 are subject to cancellation

Step 3: SUPPLEMENTAL REGISTRATION PACKET

Download and complete the Supplemental Registration Packet (“SRP”):

2019 USA Junior Nationals paperwork is due in the USA office on or before January 11, 2019.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING PAPERWORK TO THE EVENT. ALL PAPERWORK IS DUE IN THE USA OFFICE PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

Step 4: MANAGE YOUR REGISTRATION
