The race to earn a paid bid to the 2009 College Cheerleading and Dance Team Nationals Championship in Orlando, Florida is coming to a close this week in Memphis, Tennessee.

Today cheerleading and dance experts from around the country are spending their day judging the videos in each division to determine who is going to win a paid bid.

All of the college teams entering videos have spent countless hours this season supporting their school, preparing for games, serving their community, and preparing for nationals. They have already won the hearts of their schools, and tomorrow we will find out if they have won the hearts of the judges.

Once the judging has been completed and the winners decided, UCA will be giving out 20 cheer and 9 dance paid bids along with 15 cheer 10 dance partial paid bids. On Thursday afternoon, Tournament Director Melanie Berry will announce the paid bid winners right here on Varsity Radio!
