Eastern Illinois University Pink Panther Dance Team: School: College
The EIU Pink Panthers have been on the EIU campus since Fall of 1964 and are an athletic support group excited to perform, dance, encourage EIU teams, and participate in University and community events. Being a part of the EIU Pink Panther Tradition requires a great attitude, ethics, time, commitment and dedication on the part of each team member. Being an ambassador of Eastern Illinois University, a Pink Panther will work hard to properly represent their University and team by maintaining academic standards, participating in Athletic events, supporting all EIU athletes, serving the community through outreach projects, helping and encouraging other team members, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through proper conditioning, technique training, and nutrition. Our web site: http://www.eiu.edu/~eiupinks provides information about auditions and the team.

Describe your team's traditions.
We perform at all home football and men's and women's basketball games. We also perform for campus events such as First Night, Pep Rally, Admitted Student Day. Other traditions for the team are the Poms with Pinks, Little Pinks Clinic, and Dance Skills Clinic. We do community service activities each month as a way to give back to both our campus and residential communities.
